  • Storage MethodTwilight is a lining structure with warm seams and no cold spots.When you take it out of the compression bag upon receipt,you need to lay it flat or hang it up to air, and gently pat or shake the areas where the down is uneven. It will quickly regain its fluffy and full state. When not in use outdoors, please store the down sleeping bag in a loose mesh storage bag. Keeping the sleeping bag fluffy can extend its life.

Twilight 2 long version. I could not be more impressed with this quilt. The materials and build quality are top notch. The 10d fabric is super lightweight. The stitching is very good. There were zero loose feathers when I unpacked it. For a moment I questioned if it was actually down. The loft is great. I think some companies would consider this over filled. The strap placement is good. The draft collar is very full. The sizing is great too. I'm 6"1', 220lbs and can roll over easily without letting air in. There's a few inches to spare length wise, but if you're over 6'3", it might be tight. First night used was 30f and was toasty all night in base layer and beanie on a thermarest. This quilt compares favorably to much more expensive models. All of the listed specs seem to be honest and true. It's simple, well made, has the right features and nothing extra. ... show more

This quilt has exceeded my expectations for sure. The quality is great, and it is definitely warm (if you use it in the right conditions). This is not a sleeping bag, this is basically a blanket filled with down that has a sewn together foot box. It comes with straps to wrap either around you or your sleeping pad/mat. I have used it as a blanket when it wasn't cold enough to use the straps. I use this quilt as part of a larger system--I put this inside of a big agnes sleeping bag when it gets really cold out. This item is very light and packs very small thanks to the down filling. The only down side - do NOT order this item if you are in a hurry. The shipping took almost two months or more to finally arrive, so order it long before a trip if you have one planned. ... show more

I'm really happy with this quilt (Twilight 2). I ordered the Twilight but it didn't have enough fill for my liking. Payed the extra money for the Twilight 2 and I'm really happy I did. Have only used it in the 40s Fahrenheit but so far it's been perfect. I keep the bottom of quilt attached together with a bungee so it won't spread open when sleeping. I also got a down hood to make this quilt even more comfy. If you've never used a quilt make sure to tighten cinch cord around collar when it's cold out. This will keep a lot of your body heat inside bag. I wouldn't be surprised if this bag is comparable to some of the expensive bags but I haven't been able to test it in low temps yet. ... show more

I still have to field test it but my first impressions are not positive. It looks like it has no insulation in it at all. It doesn’t puff up after hours sitting out. Hold it up to light and there’s hardly any fill in it at all. It feels like a thin nylon blanket and not a puffy down quilt. The only way to be warm is big puffy down filled channels that trap warm air. There’s NO puff at all. I can’t see this performing well or keeping you warm at all but I will update when I test it in field. ... show more

Brought the Wind Hard Twilight II on the Wind River High Route paired w/ a Nemo Tensor (all-Season version). I sleep cold so i was a bit worried but the this quilt was TOASTY. The coldest night got down to 37 and I was still very warm with just a shirt and socks.

Packs down well, taken out a couple times and is very warm down to 32°, haven’t taken it lower. Paired with an R4 thermarest. No smell and has a great compression bag. No issues.
