What I hate most about assemble yourself stuff you buy off the internet is the QC you get with it. However, if you're like me and are very handy and DIY it'll be no problem. The pieces all come fairly, nicely packaged but there were some spots that weren't and rubbed together and the finish was chipped and there were also some unfinished edges that could cut you up. After deburring everything I took a leg to The BIG ORANGE aka Home Depot near me and got a can of spray paint that matched the color the best I could and then went back home and began to "touch up" everything I had deburred or was chipped off. After letting everything dry, I then proceeded to put everything together; AGAIN! if you're not very DYI or can understand the most minimal basic instructions then this is where the beer and phone a friend come into place. Starting with the tabletop, lay it upside down on the ground and begin to unwrap it from the middle being careful not to just tear the paper apart. Fold the ears of the wrapping under the table, to help protect it while you're assembling everything. Start off by loosely attaching the legs to the tabletop; leave the screws out just enough for the leg to wiggle but not wobble like a drunken frat boy. Repeat the looseness of the screws on everything you put together is paramount. and then once you have everything assembled and put right side up is when you tighten all the screws. MAKE SURE YOU TIGHTEN EVERYTHING ON A LEVEL SURFACE!! For the chairs; assemble by taking one side and attaching it to the seat part and then flip it over and do the same thing then attach the back part to everything. TRUST ME its easier this way and also make sure you keep all the screws slightly loose then put on level surface and tighten everything. once i had everything together everything looks great! quality is a above what you'd expect from mass produced made in china stuff which surprised me and most importantly the wife loved it! ... show more

Nice and lightweight but substantial, I will add chair cushions. If 2 are sitting on a side, be careful of your fingers as the chairs barely fit under the table when you "scoot up". Delivery box had hole with metal part sticking out and scratched up, but it turned out to be a part that isn't visible once assembled. Looks nice on patio. ... show more

The set arrived quickly so that's a plus. The table edge arrived with a dent in the edge in spite of the packaging. Two of the chairs won't go together due to the seat piece being twisted. I ordered this for a family function so don't have the option to return. I will probably need buy two replacement chairs. It's a cute set but probably wouldn't purchase again. 😕 ... show more

Assembling has some challenging moments but turned out okay in the end. First it arrives in two boxes, but not on the same day. First the chairs arrived. It says on the box they suggest you wait for both boxes before beginning assembly. Good "suggestion," because if you get the chair box first it is impossible to assemble anything because all of the hardware is in the other box with the table. Anyway, other box came the next day. Not sure if they shipped from two different places or my UPS driver overlooked one when he made the delivery. Not a big deal. Everything went together easily except the table. We have the rectangle one. Something was off with the threads of the attached "bolt" part of the underneath of the table where you attach the legs. It was like the nuts provided fit just barely. The tool provided to tighten them was useless. Only with a socket wrench set was it possible to tighten them the way they should be. Even then it was tricky. It was almost like one part was measured imperial and the nut was metric or vice versa. It was just difficult. But in the end the nuts did work, but you need real tools. Everything else was fine. Just keep that in mind when ordering. You can't rely on the enclosed tool to put the table together until they improve how that is manufactured. ... show more

I purchase this table and chair set for a gathering I was having on my property. While assembling it, I found out that it was not properly milled. The threaded bolts would not go into the female end of the frame. I contacted the seller, and they promptly sent me the replacement part, the chair back. However, when I received it and tried to assemble, it would not attach to the arm of the chair, holes don't line up. This is an inexpensive table and chair set and I was not expecting high quality but not being able to assemble due to poor milling was not what I was expecting either. A complete waste of time and money. Spend a little more to get some quality rather than waste your money. I would not recommend this table and chair set... ... show more
