The texture is great and dries quick. It works really good at brightening. I've noticed a difference after 3-4 weeks of usage. It seems to be a little drying so be sure to use moisturizer after using this.

So I bought this because it contained Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Ferulic Acid and some AHA's. I was really thinking about SkinCeuticals but I wanted to try a few options before I even considered spending 200 dollars on a serum. This is my fourth go at a Vitamin C serum overall and I've never really noticed any benefit from them. Now, we don't know how much of any of the ingredients there are in this serum, but after using it for 2 weeks I don't really care anymore. I use this in the morning and it feels great on the skin. My skin is noticeably brighter, smoother and even in tone. It's not causing any breakouts or dryness. I use tretinoin in the evening and this is a fantastic addition to my skincare routine. I just can't describe how soft and smooth my skin is! I had a fresh acne scar last week that is essentially gone now. I'm in love! The best part for me, though, is that it keeps my makeup looking fresh all day. I've never been able to find a primer that works with my skin but here we are with a serum going above and beyond what I asked of it. I feel great knowing that my makeup isn't pooling and creasing throughout the day. I can't believe how much confidence something so little can produce. You also get a huge amount of product for very little money! Although I've heard that it's sold at Wal-Mart for $4.99. I can't believe this is offered at $19.99 let alone $4.99! I love the value and quality of the products from this brand. All of their products are made in the USA and have been dermatologically tested for safety and effectiveness. I trust these products and I highly recommend them. This is a very cost effective solution to higher dollar serums and creams and work just as well if not better at a lower price point. I have been using several of this brand’s products for several months now and I am completely satisfied and I use them on a regular basis. The product does what it is meant to do and my skin has never felt better. I have noticed a decrease in fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration. The moisture in my skin has increased while the texture has improved. I recommend these products if you are looking for a more budget savvy skincare solution.

Getting a huge 1.75-ounce bottle of Vitamin C with ferulic, glycolic, and lactic acid for under twenty bucks is a steal. Unlike most watery serums, this is actually a lightweight, bouncy gel. It sinks in fast without being sticky, and it actually works perfectly as a morning makeup primer-it smooths my skin and keeps my foundation from creasing. I noticed a brighter glow and softer texture after about two weeks, though don't expect it to erase old acne scars overnight. The biggest annoyance is the packaging. The squeeze dropper cannot handle a gel this thick. It won't pull the product up, so I basically have to pull the wand out and wipe the gel directly onto my hand every morning, which is super clumsy. Also, a warning: this stuff is strong. The AHA/Vitamin C combo is no joke. If you have sensitive skin, it will probably sting and dry you out. You definitely need to ease into it and follow up with a heavy ceramide moisturizer and sunscreen. But if your skin can handle it, it’s an amazing budget option.

I actually got this product on sale at a discount store, but I loved it so much I had to look for somewhere I could buy it more frequently to make it a part of my skincare routine. As for the claims it makes, here is my take: Dark spots/uneven skintone? EXTREMELY successful. And I'm not just talking about the ones on your face. Every time I applied this to my face, I would spread the excess product onto my hands. I never did it intending anything to happen, but it has actually made me love what I once felt were 'man-hands'. It got rid of the dark spots I had on my knuckles and made them feel so nice and soft. Anti-aging/crows feet, etc? Well.. I'm a firm-believer that there is no magical 'reverse' aging product out there. But if you start using preventative products while still young, I think you can certainly help to prevent aging a lot more effectively. With that being said, I am 24 and though I do not have major wrinkles, I did have some (not crazy visible) wrinkles on my forehead when I raised my brows. Though they weren't too deep, these were my biggest insecurity, and the serum actually did help to even them out a bit. They're not completely gone, but like I said, there is no miracle product out there, and also to be fair, I don't use the serum daily (sometimes I get lazy). However, the results it has given me, makes me confident that with daily use, I'll be able to prevent major aging signs as I get older! Overall, I think it does what it claims to do, and the price? It's absolutely what I love the most. I've used Vitamin C serums THREE TIMES more expensive than this, and they just did not seem to do as much for my skin as this has. I will be honest though, the more expensive one definitely left my skin feeling much softer to the touch after applying it, whereas this serum leaves it feeling a bit more tight. Almost like it creates a 'film' of sorts. But to be fair, this serum has added benefits, and isn't just plain Vitamin C serum like the other one was. Just thought it was worth mentioning. So, if you're considering this product, do it!
