This helmet is great. It's got an extrememly expensive look about it (mine is silver stripes and bill with black matte. Feels and looks like leather and is a hard shell. I have a 24 inch head and this medium fits perfectly on me. If your head is any bigger, the strap and the shell will be too small. Lining it will a baseball hat makes it fit snugly for me and wicks for the lost airholes in a conventional bike helmet. I think that this is not as protective as a trad helmet either. This is a goofy hat. Practically a helmet, but not really. It has a thin removable cushion liner, but if you do, you're left with the half of the velcro dots that were there to hold that liner in. The chinstrap is cheap and odd. There's really only adjustability on one side, and the clasp manages to be bulky, flimsy, and awkward to work. But I need the chin strap or it's going to fall off. I like it. It's absolutely goofy. I wear it with the bill at the back, and it's reminiscent of a midevil sallet, but without the eyevisor. I put a head lamp on it, and to my surprise the headlamp stayed on it better than it does on my head. So now it's my nightwalking helmet. ... show more

Super comfortable, pretty much looks like your wearing a hat. I put a baseball cap in under it to make it slightly snugger for my little head and it fits like im just wearing a hat. It's quite a bit cooler than a big mormon looking bike helmet. Seems like it would protect from an impact pretty well too. ... show more

I mean, this is only vaguely a "baseball hat". It is a reasonably rigid shell with moderate padding and a very uncomfortable chin harness. Make of that, what you will. The fit ain't great for my big noggin. The ergonomics for the chin assembly are especially quizzical to me.

So this helmet is definately a helmet that I recommend. I got hit by a car yesterday(an Escalade to be exact). My helmet protected my head and never fell off. Get it, it saved my life. I walked away with a knee scratch and my face had a small scratch. If it wasn’t for this helmet my face probably would have been worse. ... show more
