I couldn’t find black work boots locally. Ordered these for a good low price and they were impressive. The best thing about them is they were comfortable from day one, no break in pain at all. They seem true to size as well not big or small like some brands tend to run. I’m completely satisfied.

The boots are very nice but the laces broke instantly! I had a pair of good boot laces and now they’re great! One thing to note is that these are definitely logger style boots and that means they are very heavy and they like to collect mud and rocks. Still at this price they are great!

Edit: Cheaply built. Barely anything holding the boot to the sole save for a few screws that have been drilled through a mere smidgeon of leather. Those screws have nothing above them and dig into your foot after a couple weeks as the sole wear down and the ground pushes them up as you walk. They werent terrible to wear and use good leather, but are just bad design. NOT WATERPROOF. Water seeps in from underneath right from the get go. *** Boots are built very solid, and are almost spot on for size. Too spot on. Theres not enough room if you want to add inserts for comfort. Because they are so solid the bottoms are hard and would benefit greatly from an insert. That being said, may be a good idea to order half a size up. Otherwise nothing to complain about but time will tell. ... show more

Great boot for the price. Don't matter what make of steel toe boot you get where I work. There toast in 6 to 12 months regardless of make like (white, redwings, etc.) & it doesn't matter how well you take care of them like cleaning and putting oil on them. The work conditions I'm around at work just eats and tears up boots like no tomorrow. So like I said these are a good boot for the price. Especially when I have to buy 2 pair of boots a year. I have to add an insole in the boot to make it more comfortable for me but I have to that with most boots or shoes anyways. I'm standing on dirt, concrete, or blacktop all day. So they hold up pretty well. I have used this make of boot for over 10 years so I really can't compline. They have improved things here and there and they have helped them hold up better and be more comfortable. The laces are not the best but that's not a big deal because I end up buying a pair of Ironlace laces for my boots anyway they last for at least 2 pairs of boots or more. ... show more
