I picked this up before a trip to Vegas and my wife's shiny club dresses. I tried it at home before leaving and used it there and am happy with the results. The device has a small removable tank in the back - it comes with a little plastic cup to help fill it but it fill fine underneath a faucet or just dunking it in water so I just threw the cup away. It becomes ready quickly after ~30 seconds and provides consistent steam and very good angles of operation. Because of how the tank works it can steam in any direction besides pointed straight up (since the water would pool at the back of the chamber and couldn't flow into the device. It also comes with a small travel bag of flocked velour kind of material and a small (like a small-sized mitten) mitt of silvery fabric that you can use to hold the clothes as you steam without worrying about scalding your fingers. It worked surprisingly well. Honestly this works better than my home steamer except for the tank is slightly smaller and does not have the ability to 'lock' on, it will only steam while you physically hold the trigger. ... show more

This is my first time owning anything like this, I've never owned a steamer or even an iron so this is probably a new skill I'll need to develop over time. I was reckless and dropped this from about 5 feet off my loft bed, it landed on hardwood flooring, the water canister went flying off. I was so worried that I had broken it and felt terrible but it still works great. See the picture of my shirt, it flattened the pocket and made a lot of wrinkles go away. I could probably do better with more attention, time and skill. It made my shirt look much better and smell fresh. This streamer heats up quickly, it's ready to go almost as soon as you've plugged it in. My clothes have always been wrinkled, this is going to give me a new look. I’m pleasantly surprised at how well this steamer works. My daughter’s favorite dress got very wrinkled and I honestly thought I wouldn’t be able to get the wrinkles out. After just a couple of minutes the right side of her dress is visibly less wrinkled. The steamer comes with a small cup for pouring the water into the machine, a mitt for keeping your hands from burning and a cute little carrying bag. When using, you either have to have the steamer upright or straight down like a regular iron to keep it from leaking. It also gets very hot to the touch in the area that the steam is coming out from so take note of using around children or pets. It also folds up when not in use for added convenience. The media could not be loaded. This steamer works wonderfully. My first use on it was to steam out wrinkles on a new coat I ordered, and it did the job great. It’s pretty lightweight and holds a decent amount of water. I was able to do the whole coat and still had water left to do a shirt before refilling it. This thing creates a ton of steam, so make sure you use the mitt! The handle folds against the body for easy travel/packing. I definitely recommend this! ... show more

Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program. I didn't get paid for the review and, in fact, I Pay 45% in Federal and State Income Taxes for each item. I'm in my 70s and grew up knowing how to use an iron. If fact, I still have an iron and an ironing board, which probably, one day, will be a collector's item . I have used Clothes Steamers in the past but my last time was probably 15 years ago and I didn't like the results. I normally wear clothing that doesn't require the need to remove wrinkles. I can always add a damp cloth, to the clothes dryer, with a lightly wrinkled item to remove wrinkles. I tried the ADOTOCAM Steamer twice, allowing the Unit to completely cool off between usages. Both times, after the Unit started warming up, I smelled melting plastic. I will not use this Unit. During my 74 years, I have smelled burning plastic in multiple, small appliances so I do recognize that unique smell. The same day, I tested another new clothes steamer that didn't have any issues, there wasn't a burning plastic smell. ... show more
