I thought I read through enough reviews on this doll to determine it wasn't stinky - I was so wrong. This baby doll is SO stinky! If concentrated baby powder smell is your thing, then this doll is for you. I washed this thing 5 times, it's been in the bath, and it STILL stinks just as strong as the first time my nostrils were invaded by the stench of what people think babies smell like. If my daughter didn't adore this baby so much i would send it back or throw it away! There has to be stinky pellets inside the body cause I don't know why else it can still be so stinky. ... show more

I got this for my 18 month old daughter who loves baby dolls and she was so excited when she saw it! The doll is a bit smaller than expected (about the height of a remote control), but it's so well made. The doll has a soft bean bag body with a non-removable outfit. The doll has quick dry technology so that the body dries fast. We took it in the pool for about an hour and a half, so it was very saturated. It took it several hours to dry, so I wouldn't call it "quick dry." The doll has a super cute mini pool float with it that it nestles into and can float around the pool or the bathtub with your child. So fun! My daughter loved pushing the baby around in the float. It also has a fresh powder scent - smells a bit musty to me, so I'd rather it not be scented and the smell doesn't go away even after getting wet a bunch of times. The doll can also suck its thumb by pushing the thumb into the open mouth. My 8 year old liked her little sister's new water baby so much that she wanted one also, so I ended up buying her one. These little babies are so fun and can be played with dry out of the water or in the water table, pool, or bathtub. At first I thought $18.99 was pricey for such a small doll, but its worth it because there's no holes in the doll so this water toy won't get moldy and they enjoy them so much. So as a mother of a little girl, you’ll know the importance of bath tub babies. However- you will also know the disgust of bath toys. This one is fabulous… the baby does NOT fill with water, dries completely between baths, and has a little loop to hang it up! So no black yucky stuff as with other bath toys!!! We bought this at least 6 months ago and it is still my 3yo daughter’s favorite doll, despite having quite a few baby dolls. It is SMALL (read the description so you’re not shocked when you get it)! My daughter brings it everywhere (and she loves to play in the dirt), so I love that I can toss it in the wash and it comes out nice and clean. I knocked off a star because of the smell (also mentioned in the description). It’s not unpleasant but it’s very strong - even after being washed. The doll itself is cute but it can fit inside an adults hand it’s very small . it’s cute and smells ok . The donut float is cute but isn’t thick quality and I can see it popping . This would be more of a collector’s item vs to play with . I like that the doll can be washed and doesn’t stink after it’s wet . It has it pros and cons and is a very small doll . I would not pay the price I did if I had read the description better . I’d pay no more than ten dollars for this item if I would of seen it in person before I choose to buy it . ... show more

My daughter wanted a doll that she could take to the pool with her, so I went with this one. I read the reviews first and they mentioned that it was tiny, but I was still a little shocked by just how small it was. It comes with a little beach towel and a little donut float that you can blow up. We've taken it to the pool twice so far and it seems to dry out just fine. This doll is perfect for my 2 year old who loves baby dolls. She has played with it for many hours while her brothers are at swim lessons and in the bath tub. It floats and dries quickly.
