I took orcersta in highschool and my girlfriend too I bought it for her as a birthday present for what I paid for it I think it's a excellent value the quality is good and comes with everything you will need I do recommend in future to get some better strings and upgrade the bridge and bow and deffently get a good grade rosin but for the price you can't beat it with what it comes with will do for beginners but upgrade when you advance! ☺️

I bought this violin for my daughter for her birthday and I had bought it early and put it back for her. Her birthday was 1 day after the return window so I'm not able to return it so money wasted. The violin doesn't work, the only way it will make any sound is if you press really hard, therefore, shredding the bow. Even then, it doesn't sound right. It was nice that it came with all the accessories but what good is it if she can't even play it. It was a waste of money and I had an upset child on her birthday because the violin doesn't work.

This is on par with the other violins offered in this price range. It won't blow your socks off but you can comfortably hand it to a first timer and/or younger kid and let them screech away. It was slightly difficult to get the bridge on straight and it does seem to want to slide to one side but it's still playable. This kit does include a lot of little extras that are usable if you don't have one already including the music stand (which is pretty impressive for a free add on) and tuner. Just keep in mind that this is all meant for a casual beginner and you will be happy with it. One annoying thing is the amount of time it took to be delivered but it was at the beginning of school so perhaps there was a shortage during the demand. It was delayed a few weeks but did actually arrive in one piece.
