The media could not be loaded. I've never done an engine swap before, so I figured "adapter plate" meant it would bolt on without drilling. That was not the case. At first, I wondered what purpose an adapter plate served if not to avoid drilling, until I realized that it allows you to (re)position the engine anywhere on the X/Y axis with only one set of holes. If you do it the poor man's way of mounting the engine directly to the bike, you have no way of making adjustments without enlongating the holes with a grinder, which would eventually be required for tightening the chain. The adapter plate also raises the engine half an inch, which in my case was needed to clear the frame. The construction is a nice solid block of aluminum. The channels are cleanly cut and nicely sized for the provided bolts. The kit includes lock nuts instead of standard nuts which was a nice detail. Now that I understand what this plate is for, I'm very happy with the purchase.

This adapter plate was perfect for the predator 212cc motor. I used it on a mm80cc mini bike. With the mm80 frame you have to bolt the adapter to the motor with bolts for the frame installed. It's very adjustable, great value for the part, functioned perfectly, took a little bit of finagleing to get the frame bolts in, but that's a given stuffing a 212cc in a 80cc frame. Good quality finish.

Mounting holes are wayyyyy off. I have a baja minibike and have to drill holes to get the plate to mount . Wasn't happy at all about that !

Used this plate to mount a predator 224 to an FRP GMB100. Worked perfectly. We wanted the front to back and side to side adjustability. We had to remove the fuel tank, mount the engine and put the fuel tank back on. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody looking to mount a bigger motor to a smaller mini bike
