I gave this a good test now that the weather is really on our side. This is very good recreational paddle and it's easily adjustable. The button-and-hole function to adjust this is pretty standard and I didn't have to work hard to get this to work for me and then to have it work for my friend who wanted it a bit shorter. Please note that this is good for recreational kayaking. If you are going to be in rough water or actually going through rapids with this, you might want to look at something more advanced. But, for a nice paddle on the lake or a predictable river, this is solid. The portability of this is nice and being able to have it fully in the kayak when taking it down the ramp was nice, as opposed to having it sticking out. It was quick to put together and head on my way.

I love this paddle. I have three kayaks and I lost a paddle in a stream last year, so I needed a replacement. First I have to say that having a paddle that breaks down and can be carried in a small bag is a HUGE plus for me. I often find myself trying to tie or bungee my paddles to something in the trailer or truck to keep them from falling out while traveling. The paddle comes in 4 pieces, the two paddle faces and the two telescoping bars. They go together quickly and have you on the water in less than a minute. The bars telescope out to the length you would use them at and they are locked into place with a flip latch. The paddles can be twisted to be offset or straight inline with each other, which is a nice capability to have because I like mine offset, but my kids don't. The paddle is light weight and comes with a carry bag.

This is a nice adjustable kayak paddle. You can adjust very precisely how long you want the paddle to be, and also the exact angle you want the paddles at. This is because it has a clamp that you can lift, twist and slide, and then lower it back down. No notches or holes, just a clamp. This seems to work pretty well. The two have connect with one push pin, so it's easy to take them apart. And you can collapse it all down into a fairly small bag to transport. It's decent quality, not super strong for hard core kayaking, but good enough for most common uses. Very functional and a reasonable price for what you get. Good materials and build quality.

I’m slowly gathering outdoor gear for a new chapter of life that I hope includes more camping, canoeing, and eventually a trip into the Boundary Waters. After getting a good sleeping bag, this paddle seemed like another practical item to add to the collection. Now I just need the canoe! I like that this paddle breaks down for storage and travel, since gear needs to be manageable when packing for road trips or future canoe-camping adventures. The adjustable design is also appealing because it gives me some flexibility depending on how I end up using it. I have not had it out on the water yet, so I cannot speak to how it performs over distance or in real paddling conditions. But as I put together the basics for future outdoor trips, this feels like a useful item to have ready. I’m looking forward to the day I can load up my sleeping bag, camping gear, paddle, and canoe and head out for a quiet trip on the water.

The family enjoys a variety of water entertainment, including kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and standing wakeboarding. The kids struggle with long adult sized paddles though, and our last adjustable paddles broke easily. I tried to 3d print some, but that effort failed. These paddles are great though. The quality is better than I expected and they seem durable enough for a couple seasons. They comes apart for easy storage and travel and are highly adjustable. Adjusting them is very easy. Even if you’ve never owned kayak paddles before, you’ll have no problem figuring them out. Overall, product is lightweight, easy to assemble and disassemble, a breeze to adjust, and works well. They could be a little more comfortable to use, but at this price point they’re exactly what I expected in that regard. And speaking of price, they’re a good value for money.
