These are a really solid option if you’re looking at adjustable dumbbells in this style. The adjustment mechanism is way easier than the older Bowflex design where you’re constantly messing with both sides. Just set them back in the cradle, twist the handle, and you’re ready for the next weight. It makes supersets and drop sets a lot less annoying. There are a few downsides, but they’re pretty much the same tradeoffs you get with any adjustable dumbbell. They make a little bit of noise when you’re moving them around, but nothing that feels loose or unsafe. At the lighter settings they’re also a little clunky because the dumbbell stays the full length even when you’re only using 5 or 10 pounds, so they can feel a bit oversized for curls or shoulder work. I normally don’t like rubber handles because they can feel soft or squishy, but these are actually pretty nice. The rubber is firmer than I expected so it still feels solid in your hand and gives you a good grip without feeling cheap. One thing I really like is the number of weight increments. There are a lot of adjustment options instead of huge jumps, so it’s easy to increase weight gradually. Replacing an entire rack of dumbbells with one pair saves a ton of space, and the bases don’t take up much room at all. Overall I’m really happy with them. If you’re comparing these to the original Bowflex-style adjustable dumbbells, I think this design is a noticeable improvement. They’re faster to adjust, feel well built, and make a lot more sense for a home gym.

TL;DR: These adjustable weights save a massive amount of space in my garage gym setup. The adjustment mechanism clicks into place securely and the plates do not rattle much during lifts. Having a full set of weights up to 52.5 pounds each in a single footprint makes keeping my workout area organized very easy. The grips have a good texture that prevents slipping even when my hands get sweaty. They feel balanced during standard curls and presses. 🟦Switching between weights is fast with the dial system so I do not lose momentum between sets. The plates are coated in a plastic shell that helps protect my floor when I set them down. I did notice they are a bit bulky compared to traditional cast iron dumbbells so certain movements take a slight physical adjustment to avoid hitting my sides. When making choices for my family, I approach products with a careful eye, prioritizing practical quality and true value that delivers real world results. These are awesome!!! Just Awesome!! I have literally a milk crate full of free weights, and bars and plates and this just replaced them all, the crate went into the garage. I love this goes up to 52.5 (lifting the base) But just 50lbs with the actual dumbbells because my husband and sons lift much more than myself and we can all use the same weights now!! Annnd I don’t have bars and plates all over the place to clean up!! Win for us all!! The adjustment is so easy, just turn the handle to the desired weight and lift up. The dial is smooth and the plates are secure. It’s easy to place back in also, slides effortlessly. Plates are a hard plastic-ish feel, not metal The weights are not wonky, it’s solid weight distribution throughout the whole plate and when using both dumbbells at the same they feel even. Nothing moving around inside either. It’s really a great set, great for small areas or any home gym as it doesn’t take up alot of room. The weights on it are secure and locked on so I’m not worried about dropping anything, or holding this over my head. Center grip is comfortable also, easy on hands. I think the price is great, I think it being compact is phenomenal. If your going to start weight training or currently use weights this will end up saving money, since you’ll eventually want to up your weight, it’ll all be right here and single dumbbells can be pricey and then get just discarded as you progress. Quality is great, these feel safe!! I love them

Like others, I spend a ton of money building my home gym during covid. Which meant buying an array of dumbbells and barbells then tryingto find a place to put them. I wish I had these during then! The amount of different weight options is really something, and it only takes a flick of the wrist to change the weights. I love the 2.5lbs increments until 25lbs then it jumps to 5lbs. They save so much space versus a rack. The only issue is these are much larger than your average dumbbell, which can limit your range of movement in press movements. The price seems to be average, but I noticed these have move weight selections than others. Please note, this box is HEAVY! I had to roll it into my house. Something to keep in mind if you have to get it up stairs.

The Moveta adjustable dumbbell set comes with two. It is easy to adjust the weight. Simply turn the center until you get the desired weight. Everything locks in place as you lift it out of its support frame. The weird weight selections are because the manufacturer makes a metric version: twenty-four kilograms equals fifty-two and one-half pounds (the maximum selection). By the way, when you select five pounds, the bar is really wide. However, the grip is comfortable. Because of their bottom design in which two heavy plastic two by two inch mini-columns touch the floor first and bear the weight, a mat might keep your floors from being dented or scratched. Generally for weights over twenty-five founds, I use only one at a time, so there’s no advantage of having a pair. With the very light weights of five to twenty-five the widths range from seven to eleven inches. When doing curls or other close to the body exercises, adjustable bars in general are awkward. The width of these whether five or fifty-two and a half pounds is a little over seventeen inches. That’s six inches more than the typical twenty-five pound dumbbell—twelve inches each. Another consideration is your floors need to be able to support fifty-five pounds within a very small footprint. That’s over one hundred if you stow them next to one another. Doing some research on floor weight bearing will be informative. My concrete garage floor does the job for these fifty plus pounders.

I've been really happy with these adjustable dumbbells. They save a tremendous amount of space compared to owning a full rack of weights, and changing from one weight to another is quick enough that it doesn't interrupt a workout. The only downside is that they're a little wider than a traditional dumbbell. That's simply the tradeoff for fitting so many weight options into one set. Certain exercises can feel a little awkward at first, but I adjusted to it pretty quickly. The weights feel secure once they're locked in place, and everything has worked as it should. For anyone putting together a home gym, I think these are an excellent value. You get a wide range of weight options without dedicating an entire wall to dumbbells, and that's hard to beat.
