I really like almost everything about this set. However the coolest thing I like ended up being the biggest problem. The plastic twist locking pieces are easy to use and fast to change. However, they don't usually stay tight and easily come lose. So at best it's annoying...at worst if you don't retighten between reps you risk the weight falling off. So then I really would tighten them down. However one time I tighten it and the threads cracked. I didn't think I tightened them that hard, but maybe I did. But now they are cracked and I probably risk injury with use. But at the moment they are just cracked and not completely separated. Also the bar that connects with 3 pieces... The places for your hands if you're a normal sized human don't appear to be useful. It is too short a distance that barely go beyond your shoulders. So it's difficult to lift the weight on and off your shoulders.not really a fan of the long bar setup. So my final comment is I probably would not buy these again. But I really wanted to like this set. Its well made otherwise, but maybe just for lighter weights....??
