It has made it through the first month of school with no problems. It is a good size and holds a laptop, several binders and several notebooks fine. My kid's only complaint is sometimes it is a little too big and he can't remember which zipper he put something in while he digs through the entire bag. We had a similar looking adidas bag previously that is too small for what he needs to carry now. However, the Jersey Onix Grey material feels less quality. His old bag feels more like a soft canvas while this bag feels more like plastic. I don't know if this will affect how it holds up, only time will tell. ... show more

The backpack is still great quality, but in Adidas backpacks bought in years past the zippers where larger and the pull handles where a lot sturdier.

I am amazed at how well this bag is holding up. My son used it through 5th, 6th, and now 7th grade. Also, two years of summer camp, and multiple vacations. It must hold about 40 lbs worth of books/materials...it sometimes was heavier than my son LOL Definitely a great bag and even though it now costs $25 more than what I originally paid; I'd buy it again because I know I'll get my money's worth! ... show more

This is the perfect sized backpack for a high school student. He can easily fit a large binder, multiple books and his lunchbox with extra room to spare. Quality seems great so far, so hopefully it holds up!
