I purchased these shoes before my driving trip from the U.S. to Patagonia and have hiked dozens and dozens of miles and these - by far - are the most comfortable and effective hiking shoes I’ve ever purchased. They are roomy but don’t slip. They have excellent traction -even on the most wet and challenging trails. They are also completely waterproof. A huge plus. Super comfortable from day 1. Have had these for a couple months and have worn on several 15-20 mile hikes in wet and rocky conditions. They still look and feel great and have proven to be waterproof.

As an avid hiker, I was surprised with these shoes from Adidas. They are exceptionally comfortable on the trail without sacrifice in functionality. The sole pattern provides flexible grip that allows helpful foot movement in contour to the demands of the trail in day-hike adventures. These are awesome shoes with great traction on any surface. However, the shoe's 8 size was bigger than my normal 8 size. Ordering 0.5 - 1 size lower would be great.
