Pleasantly surprised!

This is a great buy! My son needed a hiking boot/shoe he could wear in the rain. Heās been getting his sneakers very dirty so he needed a shoe like this. Heās 10.5 years old. Wears a youth/menās size 7. These fit just slightly bigger. Thatās okay, heāll grow. Also Adidas always runs slightly bigger/longer. I was skeptical about these being waterproof at this price point. After examining the shoe, I can tell that they definitely are. Not Gore-Tex, but an Adidas waterproof tech. They look comfy and sturdy too. PLUS, they actually arrived next day as Amazon promised. Highly suggested!

Comfortable Shoes

These shoes are amazing! Im a type 1 diabetic with sensitive feet and these are so comfortable after a long shift and breathable. The size does run slightly more roomy but I find that to be great because I like to wear thick socks. Definitely worth the money!

Fairly good...

Ok, i wanted to wait 6 months before I posted. To give the product a fair run...When new they are stiff. They repel water extremely well, as good as my rain boots. The back is rigid and stiff and doesn't allow much bend of the ankle and somewhat braces your lower calf muscle which is a weird feeling. Now that they are broken in slightly, they do not repel water. simply running in cut wet grass allows water into the toe box, they are still stiff aside of the toe box being broken in. the back being so rigid isnt very comfortable. I think overall these are 'ok'. I would not buy again, but i do not regret trying them.

Great shoe that is wearing way to fast

Look great and comfortable but I I have nearly worn the tread down to the sole just breaking them in. I planned to use them for a difficult hike soon but now Iām worried that they are too worn after only a month of semi regular use.. Update: wore these on a very difficult hike in Hawaii and they performed amazing.. up to the laces in mud and water crossings and my socks were dry.. they wear fast but will continue to use for strictly trail use

Comfortable and well made. Bought these specifically for a winter trip to NYC. Wanted something capable of keeping feet warm, and walking in snow and/or slush. They were a bit stiff at first, and required a couple of weeks of break-in. I did wear them to "the city," and they performed really well. They were also stylish enough, which was a factor also. We didn't encounter any real moisture, but I'm confident they would have been fine - there's about an inch in total of rubber between the bottom of the shoe and the start of the fabric. Not sure they are "waterproof," but I wouldn't hesitate to wear them in the snow.

Fantastic lightweight hiking / trail running shoes that fit well and last great.

Bought a pair of these before we were heading out for a 2-week trip hiking several national parks late this summer, wore them without breaking them in and had no issues whatsoever. Just the right amount of support while still being reasonably lightweight. Far superior to my Merrell's, pretty close and support but way lighter and more comfortable. Probably wouldn't do well with the backpack on prefer light heights and day trips, these are ideal. Like them so much I bought three more pair. And then half a dozen of the low tops for tooling around and work. Highly recommend
