For a $5 aftershave, this one is quite nice. It comes in a branded cardboard box, so you can gift it easily. The bottle itself is glass with a plastic screw-on cap. Nice and clean. This is an aftershave splash, so it pours into your hand and doesn't have a pump or sprayer. I'll tell you the notes listed, then I'll tell you what I smell. Top notes are listed as fresh citrus, cool mint, and warm cedar. Base notes of sweet fruits, fragrant woods, and tonka. To me, Dynamic Pulse opens up with a slightly metallic citrus. It smells pretty good. After a minute or two, you get the mint scent added. After about 10 minutes, those top notes are gone and you're left with h a slightly metallic fruity / tonka mix. This scent lasts about 40 minutes on my skin. You'll notice I've called this aftershave "metallic" and that's because it has this Azzaro Chrome-ish tint. It smells really nice on my skin. As for how it feels, well, it doesn't burn at all. It comes out like any other liquid aftershave, but it seems to thicken like a lotion when rubbing it on. It FEELS like it's thickening; there's no physical thickening. It soothes very well, and my skin is dry to the touch in about 60 seconds after applying. Overall, this is a banger for five dollars. It's clean enough for a barber, cool enough for a young shaver, and classy enough for a middle-aged fellow.
