We’ve had this controller for about a year now and it’s suddenly not compatible with the PlayStation… at first it was great and I loved that it would turn off while we were streaming to save battery.

Sometimes the base won't sync with the controller. Unplugging the PS4 base puts everything back into sync to allow the controller to sync. The symptom is: The PS4 does not sync with the base. It turns on the system, next the controller turns off. A message is displayed to press the PS4 button to connect the controller. After you press button, the controller blinks a few times then turns off. (Turning the base unit off from the front will not reset it) The base unit has to be unplugged from the back for at least 15 seconds. After it is re-plugged the system informs you the drives have to be repaired. (A quick selection begins the process) I am learning as I go, as to what is actually causing the problem. It may have it's roots in the suspend setting to automatically restart games. (I have turned off the feature to verify) The controller works most of the time. (Knowing this makes makes it more tolerable) ... show more

The weight is light. It has a good design. In the box comes the control and a cable to connect it to the PS4 (I attach an image of the control, it is not the same as the images, the buttons change the design, but I personally liked it). For shooting games, it has a little lag in reaction from analogs. But all the other buttons had a good reaction. The analogs feel a bit stiff, but I think they will get a little softer over time. Bought this controller to hold me over until PS5s are actually available (hopefully in the next 10,000 years...). Decent controller for the price, but be aware that both the D-pad and analog sticks have noticeably more natural drift and are less precise than the brand-name counterpart. Meaning this controller is fine for many games, but if you need very precise aiming or movement (CoD, "Souls" games, etc.), then you need to be prepared to feel like you're fighting the controller. ... show more
