This is the best blanket I've ever owned or used. I bought the 40Wx60L in M-Black Green. The color is beautiful, and the size works perfectly to cover my legs and lap in my wheelchair. I use it lengthwise, and the 40 inch width tucks-in nicely so that it doesn't get caught in the wheels. The blanket is VERY warm and soft, and washes up great, too. I was gifted one of these blankets when my first son was born and I’m so glad I found them on Amazon. We now have 8 of these blankets and I just bought 2 more in the second to smallest size as my toddler gets bigger. They are perfect for San Diego weather. They are soft and fluffy but they are not totally solid. If you look closely they have squares of thin material in between the big fluff. Some reviewers believe this makes the blankets appear cheap but I think they provide the perfect amount of ventilation for all weather. We use these blankets all year round, to snuggle next to or bundle up. They’ve held up for 3 years of wear and tear. And I love that they have different sizes that grow with my kiddos. ... show more

It is pretty soft but I wouldn't call it plush. I held it up and I could see light coming through it so it isn't very thick. I guess if I fold it in half it will work better. Anyway, it will be a good summer blanket for my baby boy.

We now own 10 of these blankets. Three in the xs baby size (28x40) for our newborn son. Four in small size (40x60) for our 3 yr old daughter (which are the perfect size for her toddler bed). And we just recently purchased three in the couch throw size (50x70). These are hands down the softest most coziest blankets ever. We've had the baby blankets for a while and they are still very soft. My tip for keeping them soft is to keep them out of the dryer. Just line dry them. Yes its more work but its worth it to keep them super soft. Most other blankets we've had have lost their softness after a while (even when line drying). These are still super soft. True color, extremely soft and well made. Don't let it fool you when you open the blanket. You think it just is to light. I went ahead and washed it, put it on my bed and just fell in love with it. I have arthritis in my shoulders and this weighted blanket craze does not work for me. I love my new blanket and plan to order more. Did I say that it washes up like a dream, not a wrinkle. This should be made into baby blankets. So washable! ... show more

Well I ordered this 5 years ago with not much of an afterthought just thinking my kid needed a Cozier blanket then the crib blanket. Fast forward to today and it's been slept with every night and is dragged around the house to other cozy locations it's been played with it's been turned into a toy it's been the roof of a numerous forts as well as hundreds of glamorous gowns. Needless to say this blanket was a hit. I came back to order a bigger one but I don't know if it's time yet. I think the smaller one has a sentimental value to kiddo and still somewhat fits. And of course it has a name "cozy b" :) The blanket is held up quite well. It gets washed maybe once a month unless there's a spill or an accident and we've never noticed any strings falling off or any real degradation. When I opened the package, I was worried bc the quality did not look like the picture. After washing though, wow. It isn't a heavy weight blanket or even very thick, but it's breathable AND warm for my toddler. He was outgrowing all of his baby blankets and this was literally a perfect purchase. The stone blue color us beautiful, no shedding or lint, and I'm thinking that the durability will hold up even through washing weekly.
