I bought this for my cat, who loves soft blankies such as these. I wasn't sure how nice it was when I took it out of the plastic it was rolled in. But I washed it (as I do with anything like this before using it) and tumbled it, and it came out fantastic. So very soft and pretty. (I didn't use fabric softener, just to note.) My cat is very content with it. I would say it's a nice little blanket, but I wouldn't gift it because the presentation (how it initially appears) isn't the best. I think it gets too compressed and squished in the plastic. Of course, if you simply wash it, tumble it dry, fold it neatly, and tie a nice ribbon around it, then it would be giftable. ... show more
