This adapter is very well put together. I've used these type of adapters before and this one is nice. The fit into the tool and the fit into the battery are smooth and tight. The plastic is nice but not the same strength as the tools or batteries. This adapter would be the weak spot if a tool is dropped or takes a hard impact. That goes for ANY adapter so it's not a negative. Just info for those who haven't used an adapter before. I have dozens of DeWalt tools that I use both professionally and at home. I like the tools and having everything on one battery system is great but the tools can be expensive. Sometimes I want to add a cheaper tool for occasional or light duty use. This adapter will let me do that without the hassle of more batteries and chargers. I specifically got it to run a Bauer 20v garden sprayer and it works great for that. Now I can add some other cheap Bauer tools to my arsenal. I wouldn't want to use it on something like a drill or driver I was working with all day on a jobsite ( I work some of my tools very hard ). For the sprayer, lights, vacuum or something I'm not going to drop off a ladder this adapter will work great. It would be great for any tool that's not going to be treated roughly. The price seems a bit high compared to adapters between other battery systems. It's understandable since Bauer isn't as popular as some of the big name tool brands. The large cost difference between DeWalt and Bauer tools means this will pay for itself with one tool purchase. ... show more

We have a lot of Dewalt 20v max tools so lots of Dewalt batteries. Finally purchased a Bauer 20v tool so we purchased this adapter to try out. It went on and locked in. Wife had to smack it a little to get it to snap on. Slipped the Dewalt 20v battery and and its working like it should. Very handy little tool adapter.
