I'm a professional detailer, and while I use Rupes personally, I let my staff use the Adams Pro Series. It's powerful enough and quality enough to get the job done. Considering it's about 35% less the cost of Rupes, its a great value. The only reason why I don't use it, unless another employee is using it, is because I don't care for the trigger placement on the 3" polisher. Not a big deal if you only do a car here and there... but if your doing it all the time, I feel that the trigger placement using the thumb is not ideal. Now, regarding their 5" polisher, that's awesome. Trigger placement is similar to the Rupes. One thing that Adams polishers has over Rupes is their interchangeable power cord system. With only one cord, you can use it to power all the Pro Series polishers. I can't tell you how much I enjoy this. With my Rupes, I have multiple cords laying all around the car. Again, not a big deal if you only do this once in a while, but doing multiple cars and having multiple employees moving around the car, you don't need to have 3 or 4 power cords all over the ground. I would totally recommend the Pro Series, I've never tried their other lines.

I bought this SK Pro Mini polisher to get into the tight spots, body contours, along the A pillars and C pillars etc. It really comes in handy. The ability to unplug the power cord is nice because I can easily switch out the 3" SK Pro mini polisher with the 5" SK Pro polisher for the larger panels on the fly and only need one power cord. I also like that it has a 12mm throw with the 3" pad, it helps to get the job done more efficiently. It seems to be well constructed and can handle the job well. It's a great addition to my detailing equipment supplies wall as well.

This was my first polisher. For price and company reputation you cant go wrong with this polisher. This package came with everything you need besides a detailing spray (keep pad hydrated), plush towels, and a light. Overall polisher was good. Very good first time polisher. Small and pretty light. 3in pads are great to get into the small areas of the car. Would recommend starting with a 3in vs 5in. Position of the on/off switch could be in a better spot like the top and the speed switch could also be somewhere better but its not the worst in my opinion. Polish and compound does get dusty TBH even with cleaning the pads with the polish brush and keeping it hydrated with the detail spray. Might be a little better if you clean the pads with an air gun but haven't tried that yet. The main reason for the 3 stars is the cord!!! Cord is very sensitive and you do have to be careful. Cord is known for breaking and not connecting correctly causing polisher not to work. Do not grab the polisher by the cord and do not hold the cord while polishing, it will break trust me. The only thing that makes this better is Adams customer service is spectacular and they will send you a new cord. If not, I would of definitely of marked this as a 1 star. I do wish Adams sold these cords on their website but i couldn't find it. Maybe if you email and ask they will sell you one.

I purchased this Adam’s SK Pro 12mm Car Polisher on August 2021. I do not work on car detailing for living; just keeping my 3 cars at home in good look. The tool feels solid and balanced, but some key componets seem cheap: the 12mm throw got rust and the backing plate started to show some weird spots. I take care of my tools as it is shown in the pictures and it is a shame because its design is stylished and it has a very pretty look. The warranty is only for a year...something to think about before buy it. In general, I am a 75% satisfied customer.
