I really like the product and its support when doing heavy lifting at the gym. It also does provide a thermal effect, so you will see a difference after putting in the work at the gym. My only caveat, however, is that it may not ideal during strenuous or high-intensity exercises without something underneath that protects the skin from chafing and irritation around the bottom edges. This is not a critique of the design, but perhaps the use of ANY belt with this level of support during high-intensity training. Nothing works unless you put in the work . I slap some Vaseline on my stomach and vest before every gym session. To burn fat you need to generate heat to the area and the vest does that for me. I resistance train about 60 minutes a day and 15 minutes steady cardio. Since using this with a somewhat cleaner diet, I went from a size 40 waist to a 38.
