Updated to 5 stars! Installed the “Dreamcolor” 6 piece set on my 2023 Hyundai Palisade Limited. Here are a few things to know about this product. Installation: Fairly straight forward, electrically speaking. Main control box goes hardwired to accessory power in the fuse panel; sub-control boxes need individual 12V *constant* power (one on each door), but connect to main control box wirelessly (color control-wise). Note, these only come on when power is applied to the main control box, so no battery discharge should be expected. Placement: Location wise, my install was easier than most as my car’s trim level (Palisade Limited) has the slots for ambient lighting from factory, they just don’t come installed unless you go with the highest trim (Calligraphy). Even still, getting through the door panels themselves was a challenge. Once through, a bit of finesse sets them nicely into the factory slots. Cut to size and tape off end as stated by others. The two dash strips were easier to install (these do go hardwired into the main control box), but required quite a bit of fragile panel and hardware removal. If you’re not used to removing and replacing trim panels, this could be intimidating for some. If you do not have factory slots for ambient lighting, this kit may be a bit challenging to install due to extremely tight tolerances between panels. Final look: Overall, they look and work great. The lights can be controlled via a small button which you can hide discretely under your knee board trim panel. It is however a bit tricky to cycle through the many colors and patterns to get to the color and/or pattern you want. Note, this button does not control brightness level, only color/pattern selection. Your other option is to control your color/pattern AND brightness settings via the app which works a lot quicker for specific settings. There are a ton of color options. I have mine set to a constant, low light cyan which matches a lot of my factory interior lighting, and is mostly visible at night. This kit can be set bright enough to be seen in day light though. Also, the kit remembers your last color/pattern setting and remains there after turning the vehicle off/on. I ordered this kit to look as closely as absolutely possible to the stock ambient lighting kit that comes on the Calligraphy trim. Why not get the highest trim and get the whole thing from factory instead? Among a (very) few minor other options, I saved about $7K off MSRP going with the Limited trim level. So this kit at the price point was the best choice in my case. I’ve gotten many compliments on the install as they look and fit great. One quick note on kit selection: I unknowingly chose the “Dreamcolor” kit, and I did not know that this particular kit flashes a quick rainbow color marquee pattern at each startup, before going to your previous color/pattern selection. I did not like this small detail at all. I instead preferred to have the kit simply power up to my selected color and/or pattern ONLY. *Please not, if you want this last option like I did, you will have to choose the RBG kit instead*. If you want the rainbow marquee pattern at startup, then the Dreamcolor kit will get the job done. As for the seller: GREAT help and communication resolving my issue of the unwanted rainbow pattern. They very quickly and graciously sent me an RBG replacement kit without issue. I just tested it, and sure enough, no rainbow pattern at startup! Just simply starts to my last color choice, exactly as I wanted initially. Excellent communication and assistance from the seller. Upgraded my review to 5 stars as a result of their help. Please note I am not being paid to write this. Just honestly grateful for outstanding customer service. Highly recommend this product and seller!

Size: Dreamcolor Kit - 6 in 1
The perfect accent for my car. I did use 2 of the medium sized strips for the dash and faced them in opposite directions as I wanted full coverage of the dash area, the longest led strip is just short of the full dash width. I do like it better this way as the light flows to the doors from the dash in a way that makes sense. The light strips can be cut wherever need be with no issues. If you’ve installed car audio systems this shouldn’t be anything difficult to install. Just know it’s not magic and does take some work and disassembly of trim pieces/ door panels etc to install properly. I was prepared for this with trim pry tools and had it all installed in a couple of hours, very easy to work with. Before these, I had the standard fiber optic setup and while it looked pretty cool at night, you couldn’t see it at all in the day light, this system you can see with no problem. Plus the chasing light and sound options are amazing!

My kit worked perfectly for one day, but then one of the LED strips developed a fault where a section stays illuminated even when the vehicle is turned off. The seller told me they would send a replacement strip, but after more than a week, nothing has arrived and communication has gone nowhere. Amazon only offered a $20 credit instead of a full refund, leaving me stuck with an incomplete kit that's unusable. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. A product that failed almost immediately, combined with poor follow-through from the seller, means this kit is headed straight for the trash. Pros: The lights are bright and the app is responsive and easy to use. Cons: Support is terrible, the light strips are fragile and can only be used in a near perfectly straight line. **Will update is support ever gets me a replacement strip!**

Hello here’s a little review of the lights. 2013 Honda Accord Installation: Was fairly simple. Installed the main hub first to the fuse box, connected the long strip and made sure it works. It works fine. Then moved on to the doors, I plugged it in to the window plug for power. The boxes are wireless which is a big plus. Don’t need to run cables thru door harnesses. One thing I don’t like it the strips are to long in depth so it didnt fit in every crease. Had to use double sided tape included.but I don’t think it will hold so I ordered some other double sided tape. Another thing one of the strips came with a lose wire so the colors weren’t matching with the other strips. I contacted the seller and am hoping for a replacement. Then I’ll give it 5 stars. There are a lot of colors and modes to choose from which is a big plus. I would definitely but this again and probably will in the future for another car 👍

I’m a 12v installer (audio, lights etc) so I’m always weary of the gimmicky products that customers like to install in their cars. Thought this would be one of those too but I was pleasantly surprised. Product seems a level above others in terms of quality. Power wire is actually good strand wire and easy to work with. NOTE: I did poke-n-wrap my connections instead of using the scotch locks that I comes with. As for the actual lights, they’re what they say they are. They work flawlessly and the color is visible even on daytime. App is easy to use and I like the combination of functionality on button/switch supplied. Overall no complaints and my customer liked them so much that we are already scheduled to install another kit on his other vehicle.

This is a good way to add some custom interior lighting without going too crazy on price. The app control gives you a lot of flexibility with colors and effects, and the fiber optic style can look really clean once installed carefully. I ordered these light a couple months back and installed them in my 2019 Kia stinger and had found out my driver side and passenger side door just stop working at the same time I bought another kid and installed it and the same thing happend so I’m confused on how I should solve the problem

Definitely worth the extra money to move to LED vs cheaper competition using lights, allows tons of patterns, the brightness is great and is more than enough for all lighting conditions, including sunny days, weren’t to hard to in install, app is a bit iffy but closing it and opening it solves the problem, comes with a little button although it doesn’t control the brightness, but does control off and on and even different color effects, also has a interesting startup effect but they are great.
