This guitar for $139 is not a bad deal or bad guitar. I am a beginner, but I also bought a Fender FA115 guitar for $189. Yes, I can tell a difference. The Fender is better built even though I had issues with that particular order. The Fender has a cleaner, more solid sound. Again, the vangoa guitar is not a bad deal at all, but there is a difference. One thing on my vangoa, is the strings aren't equally spaced. My son wanted to learn how to play the guitar for his 15th birthday. This is an amazing set and came with all beginner accessories that got him playing his first chords in a few days after learning how to tune it. I think it's the biggest receipt of this winter for him. At first, I was worried the size would be too big but it fits him perfectly! This is such a great deal for under $150. And I also consider For this price, I’ll likely keep it for myself if my son doesn’t love it! Great buy! It has a high-quality thick gig bag, which can protect the guitar well. the strap is really nice, the capo is nice, and the tuner does the job. The neck is super comfortable - feels pretty in terms of feel and playability. And it has a very nice blue gloss finish. What's more, this guitar has a good sound. After the initial repeated tuning, it can stabilize the tone very well. The wood is very nice, and the sound is full and strong, sound good. The construction is good for the price, for sure. I bought this guitar to get my 14 year old started on the road to being a musician. The only real problem was that the strings that come pre-installed on the guitar were very low quality. He immediately broke 2 strings after trying it out for 10 minutes. We took it to get restringed at a guitar shop and after 2 weeks the new strings are going strong. This is a minor issue, just be aware that string replacement will probably be needed immediately after purchase. It can be discouraging for a young newbie to break the strings immediately on the first attempt to play. The included tuner isn't super high quality but it is definitely helpful to have included as a starter pack. ... show more
