I took a chance on ordering this nightstand knowing the reviews provided before I purchased. I purchased this based on cost and sometimes you get lucky. Unfortunately, the packaging was not the best and the product arrived damaged. Because it's easier for me to repair (I'm handy in woodworking) and didn't want the heartburn of returning and the struggles associated with it, I made the repairs to the drawer frame and touched up the scratches with stain. The nightstand comes fully assembled but the packaging is very shabby, in addition to its cheap construction and workmanship. Quite frankly, and I don't know where this shipped from, but the box delivered looking like Ace Ventura delivered it. Overall, the cost was good considering a sturdy/nice nightstand at an average is $300-500. However, if you are not good or willing to make repairs I would not order this product. For me, I was not looking for anything fancy, I just needed something to set a lamp on next to the bed. ... show more

I consider this a lucky find for a nice nightstand ! We actually bought 2. Most of the nightstands I found while searching fell into 2 categories: if the price was low/reasonable, they were made of cheap manufactured wood & had no drawer slides. Or, they were made of solid wood and good quality, but priced ridiculously high! I feel like I got lucky with these-they are made of solid wood, have center drawer slides, VERY HEAVY, are a GREAT color, and a very reasonable price.     • Both Night Stands Arrived Damaged and Not Functioning
Both night stand shipments arrived damaged and not functioning properly. Both drawers on both night stands were open, ajar and off their respective guide rail at the back. With the draws both unable to close properly, they scarred each other on their fronts. Some damage, in the form of “streaks” were noted on the sides of each night stand. Having built furniture years ago, I knew how to remove the back panel and fix the drawers. Looks like the units were not properly assembled at the factory. And, as I am not a finisher, I cannot do anything about the damaged finish. A terribly disappointing and expensive purchase. ... show more

I'm glad the night stand come already assembled. However it came damaged. I reached out to the seller and am still waiting for a response. I'm very disappointed so far. Will do an update once they respond.
