These gummies are a rather startling blue color and they taste like blueberry candy. I think they taste delicious and they are definitely a sweet treat! I take 2 of these every morning right after I wake up and I feel like they really help me get a quick energy boost to start my day. By the time I arrive at work 45 - 60 minutes later, my mind is already going and I am not as sluggish, which is awesome! The gummies arrived in good shape in a round plastic bottle. The bottle has a nice, wide rim so you don't have to worry about getting the gummies out. I was pleasantly surprised that the gummies were all loose inside and none of them were stuck together. There is a silica gel packet inside that you will want to discard. Mine was almost at the bottom and I didn't know it was in there until I shook the gummies out in my hand. All in all, I am very pleased with the results of these gummies and am waiting for them to come back in stock so I can buy more!

I decided to give them a chance and boy am I glad I did!!!! They are sooo yummy, I have to stop myself from eating more than the recommended daily dose. These gummies don’t have any after taste, they are sweet but still completely healthy for you. Easy to swallow, no weird Blueberry taste or smell. Best thing is, so much easier than swallowing pills. No one likes stuck pills in there throat. The gummies have a slight pleasant taste of blueberrys. The gummies came with the pieces still separate. I live in South Louisiana and many vitamins and medications that are subject to melt and arrive as a ball of mush. I was pleasantly surprised, no issues here. The ingredients are wholesome. I started using these gummed a few days ago. I have had no bad side effects. These gummies are great. Not too soft and not too hard. Perfect for chewing. All gummies should be made exactly like this. I have occasionally used acetyl l-carnitine as an aid to waking up in the morning for years and can attest to the amino acid's ability to help clear brain fog. I like the quality of the ingredients in this Herbamama product and would assume that chewing a gummy will improve absorption of the nutrient. I am not sure you need to take the full dose as, when I was taking capsules, I noticed the effect with just 500mg. You may find one 750mg gummy is enough. I like the taste of the product and it is not overly sweet, though personally, I would prefer no sweeter at all. Taken with a meal, the small amount of natural sugars should not be a problem for most individuals.

Acetyl L-Carnitine (or just L-Carnitine) seems to have been used as an exercise performance supplement for some time. There seems to be evidence that it aids in the burning of fat for energy. Other suggestions have been made that it can help reduce or slow memory loss. Those seem like things that could benefit a great many people. With that said, it seems like there are a fair few possible interactions with medications; namely Warfarin and Acenocoumarol, which are prescribed to reduce blood clotting. There's potential for Acetyl L-Carnitine to increase the effects of either of these medications to dangerous levels. Please do consult with your physician prior to using this supplement if you take either of these medications, or serotonergic medication, or have an under-active thyroid. If you find yourself in generally good health and without any of the aforementioned complications, this supplement may be worth a try. It's certainly a better delivery method than the capsules of L-Carnitine I've had in years prior.

These taste great, the dosage is decent, and the extra ingredients are fairly clean (you have to watch out with these gummies sometimes). That being said, I did not notice any obvious changes or effects in cognitive health. Evaluating the effectiveness of such supplements can be tricky. I probably wouldn't buy again since the added sugars add up and there are other ways to Acetyl L-Carnitine without the added ingredients.
