This is one of the stupidest packaging jobs I have ever seen. The instructions say plug in the USB receiver, but where is it? I knew it was small, but I unpacked this mouse over a full garbage can, could not find the receiver, and assumed it had dropped into the can. So I emptied the entire garbage can onto the floor looking for the thing, only to find that some way too clever designer had buried it inside the mouse! And heaven forbid there was anything in the instructions to tell you that!

This is too little and too slide-y. When first turned on it kept up a jitter that kept me from clicking on the place I wanted to click. Found out that was because the touchpad was still on when this mouse was connected. Fixed that, but don't ever drop it or it will fall into plastic pieces. It does come with a AA battery, that's good. And getting to the USB connector is easy--just lift off the top of the mouse and grab the thing after putting in the battery. Without a mouse pad, it slips and slides around so the cursor never stays in the same place. Adult hands/fingers, people with shakey hands, and people who use their mouse constantly for drawing/painting/or other mechanical computer work, spend more money and get a better product. For all others and children, this is an okay product. The thing is just too small for my hand which makes it really uncomfortable. I use my mouse constantly while digital painting. So I can't use it for work. It would probably be just right for a child, or for small hands.

I have an Acer laptop and I am not very good with the mouse pad. In fact, I was constantly making things come up that I didn't want because I would hover over the pad. I finally thought to order a wireless mouse. So I ordered an Acer. FABULOUS! It was so easy to set up, especially since other reviews and revealed where the batteries were to be found (inside mouse). I absolutely love it and it fits my hand very comfortably. Love it.

This mouse is perfect for traveling. I have big hands but it is not so small that it is uncomfortable and not so big that it is not easily packed. It is a perfect size, the "baby bear's porridge" so to speak. It is powered by 1 AA battery under the top cover and the USB dongle is also perfectly situated under the cover next to the battery for perfect storage. I couple the mouse with a USB rechargeable AA battery and am always prepared. There is also an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse, I suppose to ensure battery life when not in use. Again, this is a perfect mouse so far and I highly recommend it, I have had weeks of use including taking it on 3 different cross country trips with perfect performance. You won't regret it.

Before purchasing this, I ordered a wireless mouse for about $6 less. Nope! Big Mistake! It was a flimsy piece of junk and didn't work at all! Still was a bit worried about ordering online again, but needed a wireless mouse quickly. Already have an Acer Laptop, so I got this. Very happy with it so far. Actually, since it comes with a AA battery (the other one did not) it's a better deal and a much better mouse. Have used it for only 2 days, but very happy with it! It was very carefully packaged, easy to set up and started working immediately!

Bought in early December, replaced in late February. Started having problem with left-click becoming less and less responsive in January. Tried two other sets of new batteries, no improvement. Tried cleaning the light window on the bottom of the mouse, no help. Eventually, left-click stopped working all together in less than 90 days. I replaced it with a "wired" mouse. Would not recommend this Acer wireless mouse.

I have a habit of dropping mice on the floor.... So the one before this has survived lots of drops... Most of the other mice that I have bought are popular and usable at a desk with no issues. This one I can say has survived no less than 30 four foot drops. Yes the top comes off the battery might come out. But the body has yet to die like the others. I have killed so many over the years and this design works.

Promptly deelivered & well packaged plus it feels great to my hand and works just as it should. You'll find the USB stick inside when you open to place the included battery so open carefully or it may pop out then you'll have to crawl around on the floor, under a dusty desk...enough of that but, open slowly. I am pleased to have found the correct mouse, w/ all the options available, if it weren't for Amazon's great CS, I likely world not be as pleased. Thanks Amazon!
