    • A Good Light Duty Laptop
I purchased this computer as a travel computer so I don't have to take my more expensive laptop on a trip and risk it being damaged, lost, or stolen. My only plan for it is to do some light research and to watch movies on the plane trip and to watch movies in my hotel room. It was an easy set up. It went through an update when I first started it and it only took 10 minutes. It was easy to add apps that i plan on using to the laptop. I set up the apps and tested them by watching a few movies and TV shows. It worked well and there was no lag in the video or delay in starting up the movies. I am typing this review on the laptop while in split screen and watching a video on youtube and it isn't having any issues. It was super easy to connect to my wi-fi and easy to attach my bluetooth earbuds. The earbuds I have are Sony if anyone is interested. It's hard to have any complaints about a laptop that was only $160. If I was going to criticize anything, I would say the screen isn't super sharp, but it gets the job done and I have no issue with it. The keyboard keys has a texture that is not bad but different. The number pad/10-key is squeezed in the keyboard so it's smaller than the other keys and may take some getting used to. There are no function keys like a traditional keyboard, but in their place there are other keys like volume controls, brightness controls for the screen and a back and refresh button. Also there is no caps lock button it's a button that opens a menu with all your apps, so that's different, once again I have no issue with these things but someone may not want these features. Also since I purchased this as refurbished, there were no manuals in the box, but it's pretty intuitive and you could probably find the manual online if you really needed it. Overall, for the price paid, this laptop is excellent value. I think if you only need a laptop for searching the web and watching movies, and paying bills, this is perfect for that. Also a good value just to have an extra laptop for travel, like i plan on using this one. I do not think this is fast/powerful enough for serious gaming, maybe some light gaming, I didn't try any games on it. ... show more
