We took this out during a fall camping trip when the night temperatures got down to the 30 degrees. Our kids all took turns and had a night sleeping in this bag. Our 6 year old and twin 9 year olds all loved this sleeping bag they each want their own now. It is nice and compact when you are traveling with it. It is quality materials and the zipper works fantastic with its reversible toggle. The kids loved that it glows in the dark too! Other kid sleeping bags don’t have good insulating and are too slippery to keep the kids in the bag. This sleeping bag did not have those issues and we were quite surprised by it. ... show more

So one of the things that drew me to this is that it said cotton flannel liner. It’s not cotton or flannel, but is a decent texture polyester that isn’t cheep satiny feeling or slippery feeling, so if I’m not being picky it’s fine. Next, my daughter is 55inches tall, a short 11 year old, and it looks like this just fits her, I actually double checked the tag to make sure I ordered a youth instead of kid. I feel like if she shifts too much the top part won’t be good like and more pillow like. When I stretch it out without her in it it definitely is 70 inches. When I took her out of it after five or ten minutes it was definitely warm in there so high hopes for it doing well in cold weather. But, there were weird whitish spots on it. I’m not sure if it’s waterproofing build up on some spots, or wear off in some spots, or it’s a prior return that had gotten water on it or been washed before? So, we might keep it- it’s cute and meets our current needs, might return it because it’s a bit pricey to not have 10 more inches of growth room I expected and not cotton. I ordered one in blue for my son and a kid in blue for my youngest daughter from another vendor, so we’ll see how those turn out. ... show more

These were our grandsons favorite gifts this Christmas! They are 3 and 4 years old. After they opened the toys and books, it was the sleeping bags that they both returned to, possibly because it was novel, and it was their size. And the parents loved them also, as they like to go to upper Michigan on little trips. Because of that, I wanted to get something that would be extra warm.
