There many things about the Hampback ACE 510 & 530 drums that set them apart from the competition. The 1st thing is you don’t need any tools to set up the drum set. The rack is solid and they give you 2 front bars for extra stability. Hampback also give you clips for clean wire management. The kick pedal is heavy and of excellent quality. The pads have a premium look and the quality is excellent. The cymbals are full rubber and the 14” ride is a 3 zone! The module has many pre programed sounds and I was able to add an extra tom and crash cymbal. The hit hat on the 530 is a moveable 2 cymbal configuration with a heavy duty stand and has an acoustic feel and the single cymbal hi hat on the 510 is very responsive! Yes I have both! I have hooked up other brand pads, kick pads and cymbals that work well with the module, the only thing that I couldn’t get to work was the bell on a Lemon, Simmons or Roland 3 zone ride cymbals. I would recommend Hampback to sell pads, large kick pad, cymbals and clamps on Amazon to allow its customers to personalize their sets! In addition, I received excellent customer support from Hampback! I will update my pics when I finish customizing the set!

Full disclosure I have no music talents but have enjoyed playing drums in Rockband since it launched back in 2007. Luckily I still have all the components that allow these ekits to be used and I wanted to upgrade to something newer. The size of the snare and toms sold it for me. The midi out is the key and I've really enjoyed playing on this kit. It works seemless with Rockband and I would definitely recommend for any other RB drummers out there. RB5 to be released in 2025.

This kit is great for the price, comes with a hi hat stand and the hi hat has different velocities and it is 2 zones so you get plenty of sound. And the ride is 3 ZONE which I have not seen anywhere for this price not even the Donner ded 500 pro that uses the same module comes with a 3 zone cymbal. The kick tower could be a little better since it really picks up any slight rebounds with the kick pedal (it supports double bass pedal too) but that may be my fault lol. The module sounds are ok at best, I'd recommend using something like Ezdrummer 3 for much better sounds, specially since the module supports a lot of sensitivity and velocities so take your time to set it up for great sounds. The hi hat pedal was kinda finicky to set up but I figured my way and now it's working perfectly after calibrating it. I'd really recommend this one over the donner ded 500 pro, also quick note, you need a little bit of space since the drum pads are a little big.

Set arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble and fels sturdy. There are definitely some hit spots on them, but it is playable and reasonably priced. The Bluetooth feature works well to connect to a phone. I have used it with headphones and a speaker and both work well/sound good. All in all, I think it was a great purchase for a first drumset.

I ordered this HAMPBACK ACE-530 Electric Drum Set for my kid. He has been playing it for a few months now and he absolutely loves the set. The drum set arrived in a large box. Upon opening, we removed the parts and my child, with a bit of assistance from me, managed to put the entire drum set together. The assembly instructions were clear and simple to follow. It took between 30 to 60 minutes to assemble and connect everything correctly. The set both looks and sounds fantastic. The double mesh drumheads deliver a highly realistic drumming experience, closely resembling that of acoustic drums. The cymbals contribute to this authenticity, mimicking the wobble of acoustic ones. The HI-HAT cymbal stands out, providing a broad range of sounds that are adjustable through strike zone and pedal pressure. Each cymbal features at least two distinct sound zones, with the Ride cymbal offering three. Additionally, all cymbals have a choking feature. The sound module is user-friendly and includes 72 distinct drum kits. My son appreciates the realistic sounds, the lack of need for constant tuning, and the immediate response to each hit. Although triggering the rim sounds on the drums can be somewhat inconsistent, the overall sound quality is outstanding. The Hi-Hat and bass drum are detached from the main frame, enhancing the authentic feel akin to acoustic drums. A slight inconvenience is the absence of a drum throne, necessitating a separate purchase. In summary, this drum set is superb, striking an excellent balance between features, sound quality, and playability. My son, who has over a year of drumming experience, is thoroughly pleased with every aspect of this set. I am equally impressed by the sound quality, the responsiveness, the aesthetics, and the design. The drum set has a high-end appearance and promises endless hours of drumming enjoyment.
