23FEB25 These fit perfectly and, at about two dollars per tire, they're a bargain. The original tires are, as always, difficult to remove, but all went as expected. Usually, I tear the original molded tire out of its locator holes, however, this time I used an Exacto knife to cut the rubber. This was slightly easier and guaranteed there was no protruding rubber stubs that would require trimming.

Despite claims these are hard to install, it wasn't really difficult. The original tires were glued on, so I had to slip a small screwdriver between the tire and wheel to separate the glue, but the old tires then came right off. The new ones don't have glue but seem to stay on fine. They made a huge difference. See my review of the i7. With the new tires, it hardly every gets stuck any more, and seems to navigate much better. I suspect the Roomba counts wheel rotations to estimate positions and differential rotations to account for turning and moving in a different direction, and the old tires had lost most of their tread and were slipping a lot. I saw absolutely nothing in my research that said slipping tires might be the cause of many of the problems I was having, but I bought these because they were cheap and were the last thing I hadn't replaced. SCORE! The Roomba still has major software issues, like ignoring schedules for no apparent reason, losing contact with the WiFi access point that is in the same room about 20 feet away, and so on. The one software issue they seemed to have fixed is recognizing and refusing to charge 3rd party batteries. After a month of use, and about 3 days after I installed the new tires, it announced it was not going to charge my new battery and I should get an official iRobot battery. (So the new tires worked great for a couple of days, including a new mapping run and the first thorough cleaning in over a month.) I finally had time to re-install the original battery two days ago, and it charged up and worked fine. I wish I had tried the new tires FIRST!

I use these in my roomba and they work well. The brushes do seem a little less full when compare to the roomba brand. For the price, I think it is a quality product. My roomba continues to work well and keeps my house looking clean in-between my vacuuming. I replace these parts based on my roomba recommendations but they have lasted as long as the roomba brand.

The media could not be loaded. I have instructions below. I read the reviews about how hard it was to install. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. My tires on my i7 were bald and would not make it back up the ramp to charge. I knew replacing the tread was my only option. You will need small screwdrivers. Start off by removing the brushes in the middle, and the small spinning brush. I then removed the back cover from the i7 by removing the screws around the outside. The cover came off and exposed some screws holding the tires in place. I removed all the screws holding the tire assembly and the whole assembly came off in one piece. I kept the other tire on just so I could have a reference. After removing the tire assembly you can install the new tread on the tire. It is a very tight fit and it seems it will stop the wheel from moving, but it doesn't. I gave mine a few turns with the new treads and it felt hard to turn. Once I removed the other tire, it was hard to turn as well, so it wasn't the tread making it hard to turn. It was the motor inside the wheel that made it hard to turn. The clearance will be very tight between the wheel and clearance, don't worry about it since it will still work. After installing both new tread and putitng everything back together, I charged the Roomba. I let it charge for an hour or so and gave it a quick test. It worked well to go up and down the ramp, it even worked on my carpet that it usually gets stuck on.

After trying another brand of replacement tires for my S9 I tried these. The other brand would not maintain grip on carpet and could barely complete a job. Once I cut the old ones off and tried these it returned my S9 to completing jobs again, much better.
