I have a Roomba i3+ which wasn't mentioned these were compatible with, so now you know they do work with the i3+. The treads looked like they had melted. I think the easiest thing to do to remove them is actually freeze the wheel trucks for a few hours to harden the rubber. I used a box cutter to slice the belt so I could grab it, and then used a flat tip blade screwdriver to pry off those points where the wheel was mounted. Once the old belt was removed, install these replacement belts and they look good as new.

Despite claims these are hard to install, it wasn't really difficult. The original tires were glued on, so I had to slip a small screwdriver between the tire and wheel to separate the glue, but the old tires then came right off. The new ones don't have glue but seem to stay on fine. They made a huge difference. See my review of the i7. With the new tires, it hardly every gets stuck any more, and seems to navigate much better. I suspect the Roomba counts wheel rotations to estimate positions and differential rotations to account for turning and moving in a different direction, and the old tires had lost most of their tread and were slipping a lot. I saw absolutely nothing in my research that said slipping tires might be the cause of many of the problems I was having, but I bought these because they were cheap and were the last thing I hadn't replaced. SCORE! The Roomba still has major software issues, like ignoring schedules for no apparent reason, losing contact with the WiFi access point that is in the same room about 20 feet away, and so on. The one software issue they seemed to have fixed is recognizing and refusing to charge 3rd party batteries. After a month of use, and about 3 days after I installed the new tires, it announced it was not going to charge my new battery and I should get an official iRobot battery. (So the new tires worked great for a couple of days, including a new mapping run and the first thorough cleaning in over a month.) I finally had time to re-install the original battery two days ago, and it charged up and worked fine. I wish I had tried the new tires FIRST!

The Garbage Fighter Tires for the iRobot Roomba i6+ are a fantastic upgrade! Installation was a breeze, and they provide excellent traction on both carpets and hard floors. My Roomba moves more smoothly, tackles obstacles better, and no longer struggles on rugs like it did with the original wheels. The improved grip has noticeably enhanced its cleaning efficiency, leaving my floors looking spotless. These tires are also impressively durable—I’ve been using them for weeks, and they show no signs of wear. If your Roomba has been slipping or getting stuck, these are the perfect fix. My Roomba is over 3 years old, runs everyday for 2 hours cleaning every square inch of our house. These were only items I had not replaced recently so I did...THEY WERE NOT EASY TO GET OLD ONE OFF!!! But I did get em off and then had to get intuitive to put these on and have them stay on. You cannot use Contact Cement You will NOT get them in place and stay before they are stuck and your stuck with wheels that won't work....I used a special cement that is for tires (*patches*) and put it only on one edge of tire - edge that was against wheel at install so glue was smeared over wheel as I pushed them on....Not sure how great the glue coverage is but they are in place and have stayed in place so I am OK with it but I will replace the ENTIRE wheel assemble or just round file (trash) the unit and buy a regular vacuum next time!!!

Fit like a glove to my very old roomba 808 model! Had to scrape off old left-over thread-less original tires off with a knife. But these were super easy to install. Tip: make sure to pop off the wheels off the axels and clean all the hair out on the inside. It’s a treasure trove of junk inside! I’d never know! So now roomba running fast and accurately! And battery lasting longer, due to not needing as much energy to drag those wheels full of hair and debris!

After a few years we replaced the wheels, the old ones were difficult to pull out of the wheel, but these were easy to slip on. He swears it moves faster but I’m not one to notice.
