Ac delco is great quality water pump ... the propeller was solid metal ... NOT CHEAP PLASTIC ... like the one that was in this Chevy cruze that failed. Very good quality gasket .. came with it no need for silicone or anything..

    • Great water pump for the price
Used on 17 chev sonic 1.8L. Had I known from the beginning that I had to remove passenger side motor mount and jack up engine, it would have only taken me 30 minutes to replace the water pump. The impeller is metal. Seems to be working great after about 3000 miles

    • Good quality, no plastic.
No plastic impeller like the factory water pump and most of the aftermarket pumps. This ACDelco pump has a cast aluminum impeller. I've used them on several Chevy Aveos and no problems at all with them. Ive never run into GM 1.6l's having problems with a plastic impeller, but I've seen enough problems on other vehicles to not want to use one when I don't have to. This pump seems to be the best choice. ... show more
