Seemed wise to replace the thermostat if I was going to go through the hassle of replacing a water pump. This is getting the job done so far. Was a proper fit for my 2008 Corolla. This does not come with a gasket, so I advise getting a reputable one so there are no leaks, or you'll spend another few hours fixing that mistake. ... show more

Works great
I have had this in my vehicle now for six months with no problems. I replaced this thermostat at the same time I replace the belts and hoses and coolant and the overall temperature of my cooling system went down 14° .

Had to go to O'Reilly's to buy a gasket. Can't believe it didn't come with one. Will not buy again.
