ACDelco Gold (Professional) Remanufactured Friction Ready Disc Brake Calipers are the high quality alternative to Original Equipment (OE) parts. They use both aluminum and iron castings. These loaded calipers contain Ethylene Propylene (EPDM) rubber components to provide superior resistance to heat, corrosion, and leakage. ACDelco Professional Remanufactured Friction Ready Disc Brake Calipers are developed without attached brake pads, allowing customization for the application at hand. Bleeder screws, copper sealing washers, hardware, and mounting brackets are all included for easy installation. Remanufacturing disc brake calipers is an automotive industry practice that involves disassembly of existing units, and replacing components that are most prone to wear with new components. Damaged and obsolete parts are replaced and are end of line tested to ensure they perform to ACDelco specifications. In addition, remanufacturing returns components back into service rather than processing as scrap or simply disposing of them.

Good quality part. Great value, half the price of parts stores. You have the option to send back your old one for a “rebate” same as parts stores do with “cores”. Only complaint is it didnt have the coating, like the factory calipers have to keep them from discoloring, to a rusty color, spray a little caliper paint on them if your concerned (im not) fit my 2002 chevy 2500hd rear driver side just like factory. Arrived quickly. Product as described. Only thing the manufacturer tightened the bonus and the bleed valve really tight. Has to stand on the caliper to loosen the bolts. The bleeder valve was so tight it stripped the bolt. Had to use a socket taped over it to loosen it, then replaced it with the valve during the old caliper ... show more

2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD caliper held my bleeder valve hostage and also broke off so I just replaced it instead of making more of a project out of removing it. Works well as it should.

I installed these calipers on my truck last weekend and today I noticed rust and a corrosive-looking coating all over them. Taking the calipers off and returning them is NOT a good option because of the time it would entail, but buyer beware! Seems to be functioning well but the appearance is not a good look!
