When finished, this is an awesome piece of furniture at an incredible price. Installation manual was well made and easy to follow. The big con was 8 to 10 hours of putting it together. Maybe with help you can shave off an hour at best. The only other con is that if you have small children, the laminate scratches very easy. All in all it was a great buy for my house. It is very sturdy, has a realistic fireplace and adds a lot of charm to my living room at a great price.

Really like this unit. Was easy to put together but be aware it is super heavy due to the fire / heat insert. Puts out a nice amount of heat if you want it to, otherwise the fire display is quite nice although I myself do not like the fake logs and they look like what they are..a molded insert.

As many other reviews have stated, this takes a while to assemble. You will spend the better part of a day putting it together but it's worth the trouble. It goes together smoothly and it quite sturdy. It looks beautiful in my space and provides lots of storage. The fireplace insert looks nice and heats my living room better than expected.

The media could not be loaded. This fireplace is the best electric fireplace ever, and I would know, I own 4 others. The fire is beautiful, the unit is high quality and solid. The finished product is very heavy. We took our time putting it together, the instructions are very good. A little more than 8 hours later we had a finished product. One very important thing before you start…BUY YOUR OWN WOOD GLUE. The amount that they include is a joke. Didn’t last through the first hour and we had to go out and buy glue. I would definitely recommend this fireplace!

Love it, gives enough heat for our bedroom, the drawers give extra storage. The assembly took a long time because every part has to be put together. Two people would probably cut the time down.

Very impressive. It took several hours to put together but my husband laid out all parts and made sure they were damage free. He took his time READING THE INSTRUCTIONS which were very explicit. The cabinet was sturdy and heavy, looks like real wood although the finish scratches and mars easily so take care. The color is more of a muted black which I like. The fireplace fan is very quiet which surprised me. My husband told me I did well in choosing the cabinet. I would recommend this to anyone.
