  • Quiet, effective and quality engineering
Color: Black Size: Dual 120
Attention Tent Owners This is my third AC infinity product. I have previous purchased two ac infinity intake/outtake exhaust fans which btw are great and still in use one year later. My purchase: Ac infinity dual fan wallplate/airplate with the switch non-controller version. My application: pull cool air from the room into a 3x3 to keep the plants inside at optimal temps. Normally temps inside are acceptable at 80-82 degrees, but in flower I want to get several degrees lower to simulate fall/harvest. Why I needed it? I use an LED that at its highest settings putting off quite a bit of heat into a small space and although a great LED, too big for the space (bigger isn’t always better) so I was having difficulty dialing in temps even in my mostly automated small space. Full disclosure - I’ve purchased more than my fair share of fans over the years from amazon and other big box retailers. Some I still use, some shelved, others recycled or returned. Rather than setup a proper intake using another ac infinity intake I went ahead and tried fan after fan propped against the side of the tent with the flap open to force cool air in. Btw the inexpensive Amazon basic floor fan pushes a lot of air, but I digress. And This method works, but adds additional noise and light leakage both in and out of the tent (night/day). As you know, this is a problem and will result in confused plants or worse, herms. That said, I’m still lazy, seeking the easiest cheapest way and I’ve been so pleased with my other ac infinity products (I decided on this unit after measuring my tents side mesh window which was close enough) it was an easy decision to take a flyer on this dual fan airplate. This fits my 3x3 bottom mesh vent exceptionally well. I didn’t even have to use the included screws or zip ties that’s how snug it is. Perfect even. I simply used a boxcutter to cut out the mess in my tent and forcefully pushed the plate into place. This admittedly took some extra elbow grease, but once i got it in, I’d say its the middle cup of porridge, just right. This airplate on its highest setting I am able to keep my homes air set to 70-73 and allow for cool fresh air to enter the airplate/tent and force the hot air generated from my LED out of the top. My ac infinity outtake fan is pulling that hot air set on low with a controller (setting 2) through an oversized filter from another company to filter any smell (none) back into this spare bedroom. Added some pics. I opted to go with the non-controller version of the dual fan airplate as I have two other intake/outtake fans (ac infinity) with the controllers and thought it would be overkill. The airplate has a small switch on it with 4 settings. Off, low, medium & high. On high, it’s quiet and mostly unnoticeable and pushes enough air into tent to keep the perfect temps! Surprised me for an airplate that it was able to push as much air in as it does. Pros -perfect size for my application -quiet even on its highest setting -always on feature (using a smart app controlled outlet to turn off and on) -moves more air than expected -great engineering as usual Cons Not sure it’s a con, but it would have been better in white rather than black and without the controller I don’t know if it was possible to push even more air in on possibly higher settings. White was unavailable. That’s it, hope this helped some folks. Thank you AC Infinity ... show more

  • Absolutely Brilliant
Color: Black Size: Dual 120
AC Infinity has always done right by me and this is no exception. I bought this fan because I installed a mini fridge in a kitchen cabinet. I had drilled out some ventilation holes but they weren't doing enough to get the fridge to work properly. I installed this fan and it did the trick. The quality of their products is second to none. Even the packaging gives you a feeling of quality and it's just cardboard. The product itself looks great and works just as described. It comes with a template to cut out any of the wall or cabinet where you are installing it. The fans run ultra quiet and are very smooth. It comes with a USB or power adapter. I opted for the power adapter to make sure that it was getting the correct amount of power to make sure that it was working as it needed to. I have the fan on high and you can't hear it at all. Moves plenty enough air for my needs. There aren't any cons to this product. The price is extremely reasonable so don't even bother looking anywhere else. ... show more

  • Keeping things Cool & Quiet
Color: Black Size: Dual 80
Well, let me begin by saying that I typically try buy things from companies that I have had good experience with in the past. This is another example that where I’ve acquired this AC Infinity controller to install in my A/V media component cabinet to improve ventilation. I recently installed a few expensive A/V components and a media sever (NAS) in my cabinet. With the new arrangement, I noticed my NAS was reporting temps in mid-50 degrees Celsius, which was warmer than I had hoped. I then decided to install AC Infinity Fan controller and fans in the cabinet hoping the results would yield improved air flow. It looks very professional and worked very well. but not as much as I would like. I purchased the fan controller and 4 dual intake/exhaust fans. Positioned the two dual exhaust fans near the bottom on each side of the A/V media cabinet and two dual intake fans near the top on each side of the cabinet. I installed the controller on the top of the cabinet on the right side. This setup worked perfectly. Have a look at the pictures for the installation as well as at the temperature monitoring results of the NAS, which runs throughout the day and night. I am very please with the look and the performance. ... show more

  • A solid easy to use unit
Color: Black Size: Dual 80
I put this fan on the back of my entertainment console since the receiver and Xbox within generate a ton of heat with nowhere to go. The install couldn't have been easier. I used the template that came with it to mark where to cut and simply cut the pattern from the back panel, inserted the fan - which comes assembled - into the hole, plugged it into my receiver, and turned the fan to the medium setting. Now when the receiver is turned on the fan turns on with it and there are no cables to be seen anywhere for the fan. If you have a small to medium size cabinet for your components this fan will work great. Even at the medium setting it moves enough hot air out of the cabinet to cool it down 20 degrees or so. If you have a large area, you may have to use the higher setting or simply get a fan that moves more air. This fan doesn't move a ton of air, but really it doesn't need to. You will probably be surprised at how little it takes to cool down 9 or 10 cu feet of entertainment console. I will say that you will hear this fan on anything but the low setting. It's not annoying by any means, and probably could be a bit quieter, but it's there. Less noise than my refrigerator fan, and certainly less noise than the Xbox fan once that unit gets hot, which is the whole point of using the AIRPLATE in the first place. Also, assuming my receiver is on, there's more than enough noise from the speakers that I'll never notice the fan anyway. For the price I think this is a fine fan and I'm happy to recommend it. ... show more
