I was a little leery because its not one of the name brands but my zarebas burn out every few years or seem to have shorts or issues. This works REALLY well! Install was easy and puts out some juice. I have 3.5 acres fenced in with 2 rows. There is an option to add more juice my running an additional wire from the ground port directly to the fence. I didn't need to. Mine is hitting at 8k volts. This was my first installation of an electric fence for my gardens. I like the kit style and it was easy to set up. For a smaller garden, a single grounding rod should be sufficient. I added two more as I am protecting two gardens and will add a third. Red light indicator tells me there is power and a green light indicator says it is pulsing. The wire that came with the kit is exceptionally flexible. The one down side is that it was not clear but the plug is not grounded. I purchased a dry Bo. And will use that for all my plug ins for the future. Overall a nice unit that is easy to install. ... show more
