Used on as Kiosk station for my photo booth at a large corporate event. Secured my iPad while offering a sturdy mount. Using the pre-drilled holes on the base, I was able to screw iy onto a stand. The unit is seen on this video at the lower right.

Great if you plan to let customers use the iPad, but for staff it's overkill. Hard to open with the key and one of the the two I bought didn't have threaded screw holes to secure the base. But overall, pretty good.

This was perfect for my gymnastics gym. It’s sturdy enough that the kids can’t knock it off the counter when they check in but not so heavy I can’t spin it around to help people check in. The size is perfect for my iPad and it’s easy to set up. It’s also easy to lock and unlock as needed to get access to the whole iPad. I like that the kids can’t accidentally unplug it, either… though that doesn’t stop my thieving staff from trying to take the charging box from the outlet… 😆 ... show more

    • Design flaw

Huge design flaw, everything is very heavy duty and then the swivel point where the iPad attaches to the table mount is three tiny screws that pull out and get stripped with very minimal force. It literally lasted about 15 minutes, before the iPad was hanging by the charging cord having pulled completely away from the mount point. I’m going to see if I can find bolts or something else to modify it and make it work. Update: I went to Lowe’s and got #4-40x3/4 inch screws, with nuts and some loc-tite, and I think it will be secure now ... show more
