Good weight, it feels... Substantial..! construction wise. And, it emphasizes how flimsy my other light is. Good price..! I like it soooo much that I searched for the "write a review" heading out of a desire to share this info. I haven't read the other reviews but I note there are a LOT of them. (smile) As I remember, I asked for it in 4 days so it would arrive with another purchase, although I could have had it sooner. Now... I'm a novice when it comes to the best light cast from the lamp for my plants so I'm trusting that the company that makes such a good product would have used good judgement about the lights, needs of houseplants. My plants are so happy under this light!!! I bought a second set of lights (a different brand) and whenever the plants are under this one they grow so much faster and look great. Seriously worth it! The timing function is easy to use and works flawlessly. I do agree that the cord could be longer, but it’s a minor thing, and it is easily made up for by how well these lights work. It's day 1 for me using this grow light and I see this product looks to output much more light compared to my previous grow light which had become too little for my growing list of seedling . My primary requirement has been full spectrum grow light which can provide at least over 100watts output and this product claims they can provide this . So far all features including timer looks very promising , tripod is sturdy and I did not observed any issues with stability of entire unit.
