I have a little inflatable boat and last year I made an anchor by filling a big coffee can with cement and embedding an eyebolt in the top. It worked when there was no wind, but with no way to grip the bottom, the anchor slowed movement but was dragged alond. This little beauty is going to dig in and hold the boat much better. It has the added bonus of being much lighter than the can anchor and easier to bring back into the boat. I like it.

We are using this for our jet ski and it should work perfectly! When we opened the box it was just exactly as pictured and described! My husband is a marine mechanic and has had boats and jet skis his whole life and he looked in the open box, gave it a nod and I am going to put it in the ski today. We will get a chance to use it the next time we go out! Consider it working perfectly, and if it does not I will absolutely come back and update this rating! Well, we pulled it out and upon further inspection were SOOO disappointed to find that they used a cotter pin style connector at BOTH connection points (anchor to chain and chain to rope) and the cotter pin is not galvanized and is sure to rust. My husband could not believe that they would use a cotter pin style for this anchor. That style has huge issues because of the cotter pin always being the weak spot since it is nearly impossible to keep it from rusting, especially when it is made of inferior metals. SUPER disappointing. This wont last long in our salt water, and sure to make a mess..

Good design, looks stainless steel but luckily this is galvanized for river use. Complete kit, and not overly difficult to wield. Good weight and quality hook design.
