Features

  • Experience Unparalleled Anchoring Power: a 17" solid, one-piece 304 stainless steel spike/auger with a robust 1/2" OD and a three-turn design for extra grip. Our Sand Anchor's rings and rods are meticulously threaded then welded. Shorter yet mightier than 18" or 36" anchors, it's the perfect pick for easy storage and transport in tight spots.
  • Triple-Turn Power & Solid Connection Between Ring and Rod:: Unlike some of the anchors in the market that only has one turn on the corkscrew, this anchor has three turns giving it a little bit more anchoring power. Our Sand Anchor's rings and rods are meticulously threaded then welded, ensuring a stronger hold than traditional welded anchors. Impressive load capacity: 3000 lbs.
  • Durable Dock Line: The double-braided nylon dock line is about 30% stronger than the 3 strand twisted rope, highly durable to act as a perfect shock absorber. The nylon material can resist the harsh marine environment. Double braid is ideal for docking, combining decreased stretch with increased shock absorption.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Our Sand Anchor Kit includes a red float & string that attached to the eye of the anchor/auger piece, It would assist in finding it if it fell over or seas whipped up, and help with visibility on top of the water so no one would run into it. The kit also comes with a well-crafted storage bag for convenience.
  • Versatile & Enjoy Quick Setup: The spiral design acts like a screw, effortlessly driving itself deeper with rotational force for maximum stability. Designed for watercraft up to 25', Reliable for all small and medium-sized boats, including kayaks and motorboats, excels in shallow or deep water, beaches, and sandbars.(Note: Difficulties may arise in excessively hard soil, if too hard, moisten ground to ease installation.).

  • Held a 24' 350hp pontoon for 2.5 hrs before it broke free
Not bad for $30...wish it was a longer spike, but still decent

  • Holds great!
First time use did great! I did replace the anchor line with a ozarktrail anchor bungee line.

  • Good value
Everything it said it was. Seems good quality. Haven't used it yet.

  • Better than expected
Finally found the right mooring for my shallow sand bottom lake! Couldn’t be how easy it was to screw in. I’m 70years. Best part-it’s still holding strong in these wild spring winds!

  • Don’t waste your money
We used this twice neither time did it stay in. We used it on the back after it didn’t work in the front. The stick for drilling it in was lost as well or I’d be returning it. Useless. Getting a box anchor

  • Don't lose the handle!
If you have never used a sand screw before, they can be challenging to use. First, they work best in sand (hence the name, of course). To screw it into sand requires some initial effort to get it to bite into the sand. Once it bites into the sand, screwing it further is not hard. At some point, you will need the handle, which makes screwing in further much easier. Just be careful and don't lose the handle, or you will regret it! The next thing is to make sure it is deep in the sand. If it isn't deep, the screw will not hold anything more than a kayak. This screw comes with a float that you tie to the screw, so if it gets underwater, you know where to find it. I haven't seen other screws come with a float. This one also comes with 15 feet of high-quality 3/8-inch rope. Overall this is one of the best screws I've seen. I wish it had come with instructions on tying the float and a better bag. The screw has a sharp point to it that almost immediately poked a hole in the bottom, rendering the bag useless. Bottom line: if you're in the market for a sand screw, it would be difficult to find a better one. When properly screwed into the sand, it easily held our 20-foot pontoon. ... show more

  • Perfect for keeping anchor on a beach
I got this for the boat when we get out on the lake, or for when we go tubing. The sand anchor works perfectly and helps so much when keeping stuff from floating off while on the beach. It's really easy to use and stowes away nicely.

  • Worked Great For Our Kayak and Inflatable Dock!
I recently had the chance to put the Abimars 17" Sand Anchor Kit to the test, and it has proven to be a dependable and high-quality option for securing my boat. The first thing I noticed about the Abimars Sand Anchor Kit is the impressive craftsmanship. Made from 304 stainless steel, the anchor has a sturdy and corrosion-resistant design that gives me confidence in its durability and long-term performance. The triple spiral auger design is particularly notable—it does an excellent job of digging into the sand and holding firm, even in windy conditions. This feature makes it ideal for anchoring watercraft up to 25 feet long, which is a significant selling point for boat owners like myself. The inclusion of the 15’ dock lines and a red float is a thoughtful and convenient addition to the kit. The dock lines are of excellent quality, providing ample length and strength for most anchoring needs. The red float is highly visible, making it easy to spot from a distance and ensuring that I can quickly locate my anchor point without any hassle. Setting up the anchor is straightforward and user-friendly. The triple spiral design allows it to be screwed into the sand with minimal effort, and it holds exceptionally well once in place. The anchor kit also performs admirably in different types of sand and shallow water conditions, which adds to its versatility. However, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. While the 15’ dock lines are robust, it would be great if the kit included a couple of adjustable-length lines to provide more flexibility for different anchoring situations. Additionally, an instructional guide or video link would have been helpful for first-time users, although the setup is relatively intuitive. Another minor issue is the weight of the anchor. While it is solid and reliable, it is slightly heavier than some other anchors of similar size and function. This isn't a deal-breaker by any means but may be something to consider for those who are particularly weight-conscious or have limited storage space on their watercraft. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, the Abimars 17" Sand Anchor Kit is a top-notch product that delivers on its promises. Its sturdy construction, effective triple spiral auger design, and useful accessories make it a valuable tool for anyone looking to securely anchor their boat. A well-crafted and reliable sand anchor kit with high-quality materials and a user-friendly design. While it could benefit from adjustable dock lines and lighter weight, it remains a strong and dependable choice for watercraft owners. ... show more
