I bought this to get a lot of people ready for a wedding in a short amount of time. I’ve never done gel nails myself before so keep that in mind as you read this. It was easy to apply all the layers (base,color, top coat). You have to apply a coat of color twice because it doesn’t go on perfectly pigmented the first time. Also, it seemed like the color wanted to pull inward to itself as I was trying to get the other fingers on thag hand done. It would pull away from the edges and the color would mostly disappear. So you have to work fast, and the second coat is almost always necessary. I love the matte top coat. These are VERY shiny in color so the matte mutes them down and makes the colors more reasonable for me. My only complaint, is that it comes off pretty easily. When I’ve had gel done at salons in the past, you have to soak your nails to get the polish to loosen up enough to come away from the nail. Not with these. The color peels off rather easily as long as you have one thin nail to push up underneath the polish. It felt like I wa removing about 8 layers of regular nail polish. Overall satisfied though, I’ll keep using it

I have been doing my nails at home for quite some time. I like the Ab Gel brand, have quite a large collection of their different colors. For the price this set is awesome. Light works great and product works great for me with no complaints. A few things I have learned at home from doing my own nails. Always work in thin layers - it dries better that way Always swipe the side of the brush along the end of the nail with every layer - this helps the polish to not chip at the ends and gives more of a professional look. Turn your hand upside down for 10-15 seconds after each layer before putting hand in the lamp. This will help product to not pool along the sides of your nails and brings it more towards the middle. After I have had the color on for a week I will go back over the whole nail including the base of the nail where the nail has grown out a bit and the end of the nail with the top coat. This helps the nail polish stay on longer and continue to shine and not chip. If nail has not grown out to much I will repeat same step at week 2. Doing my nails at home is so much cheaper than a salon.

This is by far the best top coat I have used. It's no wipe and not sticky. It's a thicker formula so it coats well. The glitter is nice and fine so it isn't too over the top. It is extremely durable. When removing I do have to buff it because it's hard to get off.

Abgel is my #1 go to gel nail polish as you can see in picture I now own 3 sets. Love them all I bought other brands but they did not last like Abgel. I have always done my own nails and just starting using gel nail polish last year. It is only by pure luck I discovered Abgel polish first.Then I bought a really bad brand ,I will not name , now all I buy is Abgel, because as the saying goes fool me once.....lol. Anyway buy Abgel you won't regret it!

So far so good! It was very easy to use. I will definitely need to buy more nail polishes since it came with mini size polishes rather than the regular size ones. I also like that it came with a matte top coat and a regular top coat. In the pictures I posted I painted my teenage daughters nails using the regular topcoat and in the other pictures I used the Matte topcoat on me and it actually came out really nice! I will have to post another review after two weeks, to post how long it lasts and how easy it is to take off using the items it came with. So far I definitely give it 5 stars!

My order came in yesterday 1/23/2021 and I was super excited to use the kit until I finally started and the polish was sliding off my nail when I would put it under the light so I had to take off the first set of nails that I did because it just looked terrible, I retried with a new color and it was better but I already am noticing chipping and on some parts of the nail it is lifting the top layer. I was super excited to try out these polishes but I am just very disappointed in them. the colors are beautiful but just not as good as I would thought.

The product was easy to use. I found the color I used to be a bit sheer, and lighter than pictured even after 3 coats, but it’s very pretty. I purposely cured longer than the amount of time it said to, based on the low wattage of the lamp. There is slight bubbling on a couple of nails and I noticed some fuzzy stuff that wasn’t present on my nails that seemed to come out of the polish, but it was easy to remove. The jars are small, sample sizes, and the polish seems a little thick, even though it’s so sheer. All in all, for the price. 8’ very happy with the results for initial application. I’ll update depending on how well it’s lasts. I DID use a nail dehydrator and prep prior to using this product to extend the wear, so we shall see!
