Normal, but I figured at a price point of about $40 and the adjustable sizing, I would give these adorable skates a try, since we had 10 lessons left in our package. Admittedly, I know next to nothing about ice skating, but my daughter improved significantly wearing these today at her second lesson, and she says they were very comfortable. I am reviewing B0FM3GPJJJ "Snowflake Adjustable Kids Ice Skates, Girls Ice Skating Shoes for Beginner Toddlers Youth Age 3-12, Warm Ice Hockey Lace-Up Skates for Outdoor and Rink, Comfortable Lining and Reinforced Ankle Support". These kids' ice skates can be adjusted through any or all of a sliding boot, ratcheting ankle strap, velcro strap, and laces. All of the adjustments are easy to do. The skates are comfortable so far and appear well-made. We have not used them outdoors so can not comment on how warm they are. They're fine at the indoor rink. We ordered the blue and white ones and it's a cute design for both boys and girls.

We received these ice skates and right now they're on sale for about ~$31. This is a steal of a buy, especially because you can adjust the sizing on them so you don't need to replace them every season. They adjust without tools; just a simple push of a button, so it's great. We took our daughter skating and everyone was commenting on how neat they looked. She skated well in them and they showed up with a good edge on the blades, too! A wonderful value buy for any kiddo looking to skate and look good doing it.
