Ok, this is a weird one. I’ve had it for over a year. I love the product. It works well. I bought it to bridge a gap between the back of my front seats and my folded down back seats so I can put a mattress down and car camp. It works really well, and sometimes I’ll go get a burrito, set it up in my back seat the way you are supposed to use it, and go down to the beach to chill and watch the waves while I eat. There is one big caveat I have to call out about this. One side is black, sleek, good looking. The other side? It looks like a poorly translated invitation to a child’s birthday party. If you missed it in the pictures, go back and check it out. It’s so weird. I just always try to use it with the black wide face up. Strong enough for two 100 pound Labrador dogs to stretch out on a 1,100 mile trip. One dog had a problem jumping into the truck, so I cut the matt at the center point just up to the crease, used very sturdy (Gorilla) tape cover the cut edges. Now we can unclip the strap on one side of the seat, let down that side giving her the ability to jump up into the floor of the back seat then up on the seat. Then we reattach the wonderful metal clips on the headrest strap and they had the whole back seat for snoozing again. It would be wonderful to have a heavy duty zipper to allow this access instead of my DIY. We really like this item, and now so do both dogs. ... show more

It's durable, easy to clean and fit on my PT Cruiser! I like that it folds up and can be moved or stored when needed. You don't have to worry about air pressure, or inflation, as it just has a thin mat, but with some blankets it can be comfortable enough.

This is an excellent bed, but it's just too small for full sized pickup. I had to really look to find one that was bigger and the one I found isn't as high quality as this one but it fits much better and my dog loves it. It may be ok if you have an extended cab but if you have a full crew cab it's simply not wide or long enough. I gave it a 5-star rating becuase if you have a mid-size truck or SUV this is well worth the money, if they had offered this is larger size I would have bought it. My dog is about 75 lbs but this bed cound handle even the really large dogs. My new one is good but not nearly as sturdy of a design. ... show more

I don’t use this very often and after maybe 8 months one of the straps broke. The seller told me to purchase carabiners to replace the clasps myself. All in all, I think it’s a bit overpriced at over $100 on sale, but I love having more surface area for my dogs on longer trips. Fit isn’t perfect in my rav4 but does the trick.     • Great, but measure carefully

Well, this deserves a 5, yet I am returning it. I measured at the edge of my back seat, and it appeared to fit. However, the measurement along the crease of the seat and seat back is about 4 inches shorter, due molded plastic (and frame) that cuts in there. I should have thought of this. On the other hand, the manufacturers could easily have made chamfered corners here, with just flexible fabric, and not solid board. I suspect that my 2005 Jeep Liberty is not the only vehicle with a seat edge width that is longer than the width at the seatback, however, most people have larger cars these days. The other negative (somewhat) is that the passenger seat was in a further back position and with the seat back more reclined from a recent passenger. In this position, the extension from the seat would have to be angled upward. If that is the case, I might as well get a fabric hammock. I was looking for a fairly flat floor that would go all the way across to the back of the front seat to give my big dog more standing room. Why 5-stars? Well, in a slightly bigger car, it would work great! It is very thoughtfully designed. It comes in a case,, and the platform zips shut and has a clasp closure on it, so that, folded, it easily goes back into the case. The slightly cushioned floor material would give a dog very good footing. It would also give a dog a flat surface to stand and lie on that is larger than the surface of the hammock design.     • From backseat to bed
I took a 14 hour car trip to TX a few days ago this was a life saver helped me turn the whole back seat into a bed and the best part is the way it’s designed it still allows the airflow to still circulate through the backseat while being sturdy no bowing or weak spots made sleeping/traveling so much more comfortable I Love that it comes with its own bag and can be easily stored and put away in the trunk of a car not just for long trips, but emergencies too you never know when you will need it until you do honestly if I had kids and needed the backseat to be a big changing table this could easily work for that too ... show more

Honest revuew. Pros: It looks nice… Fits in my 2025 Honda HRV ex-l. However..: Cons: Apparently it doesn’t understand the assignment or the information marketed is inaccurate. I did NOT receive what you’re advertising. Please see attached pictures and videos. Advertised as a mattress, it’s not. I unzipped it. It’s a piece of hard panel board with 1 (yes 1) piece of foam wrapping, NOT FOAM but thin almost see through foam wrapping placed on 1 side of the board. The outer cover has no foam or cushion. Most rear seats have a slant. As you can see from the pictures and video it will not level without manipulation or reinforcements. Cost too much to have to do that. HARD AS A ROCK. In my opinion this is worth 20 bucks, definitely not over 100.00. This is not safe or comfortable for you or your fur babies (out the box). ... show more
