I purchased this binder to help me with posture but not for an injury. I had been having back issues from slouching so I decided to use this binder to keep reminding me to sit up straighter which lessened my endo of day back pain quite a bit. For the first few days, my back muscles had to get used to being used so I was a bit sore, but now I can go thru a whole day without discomfort. The band is very easy to put on and stay on. I do use it above my clothes when at home just in case I have chores to do and break a sweat. Material is quite soft and edges do no chafe my skin. This one piece is not for me. The velcro is good, stays in place but is hard to adjust. This is hard for me to get on and in place. The velcro leaves a fuzz mark on the belt.

This is a good abdominal binder as it is stretchy and the adhesion is firm without being impossible to get on and off. The single wrap style is a little hard to smooth out, but I knew what I was getting into when I ordered it. It provides the support I need throughout the day and while it doesn't completely hide underneath clothing, it isn't horribly bulky either. ... show more

A simple abdominal support unit, elastic and easily adjustable . I am an X-large, and sometime with abdominal bloat a little bigger, and this is a perfect fit, and suggest you go a little bit bigger as you can just cinch it up a little bit more to pick up the slack . Nice to have on hand for when you need some extra back support , or stomach cramps, or just feel that something a little bit tighter will help relieve the pain. I have many different occasions to use it, and it can easily be washed, by hand is best , then hand to dry in the shower for next use. ... show more

    • It's not as great as hoped
It's comfortable to wear but it's not as firm a hold as I want and need. It's easy to put on but it's not very useful to me as it doesn't brace my abdominal muscles like I need.

What I like about Pauline Abdominal Binder Compression Support Stomach Wrap Band: The fabric is thin so you can barely notice it under my shirt. It did not irritate my skin when placed directly on my skin. The binder was temperature neutral for me: neither hot or cold. The binder was easy to use. You can hand wash and hang to dry if needed. It did help with my hernia discomfort. It was comfortable all day until I sat down and it bunched. The wrap is a gentle support. Stitching appears strong. What I dislike about Pauline Abdominal Binder Compression Support Wrap Band: I ordered a large because when I ordered a medium based on the company’s sizing chart for a 38 inch waist size; I could barely get the Velcro to lay flat. I had no problem getting the Velcro to lay flat with a few adjustments with the larger size. ... show more
