I have both a g and a J tube and often try to disguise them under clothing with minimal success. I selected two different abdominal binders for post-operative compression. I will be having abdominal surgery in the near future and wanted to evaluate my options before that time arrives. This binder is much like an extra wide elastic bandage one receives in the emergency room after an orthopedic injury. It is very thin and provides little compression. Putting it on was challenging. I could not close it while wearing it because the fabric bunched terribly. For that to work, it cannot be stretched at all. No stretch means no compression. I switched to closing it and then pulling it on like a snug skirt. That worked much better for getting it closed, but it still puckered badly once I had it on. The puckering over a lightly dressed abdominal wound would be incredibly uncomfortable. It is rather thin, which would allow it to be worn easily under regular clothing. For this price point, it is better than nothing. But, I think similar compression would be possible with firm control shapewear. ... show more

This wrap is soft and supportive and it also trims my waist about an inch. I wore it all day and it’s very comfortable but it rolls up from the bottom and I have to keep pulling it down.

I tried the Canmius Abdominal Binder and found it to be snug but not uncomfortable. I was able to put it on myself, but to get it tighter, it would have been helpful to have a second set of hands. The second picture is of the item after wearing it for 4 nights. It has pilled a lot, and I wonder how long it will last. ... show more

The CANMIUS Abdominal Binder for Post Surgery fits true to size. It might be helpful to have someone help you put it on because you need to hold the one side still and then pull the velcro side by both edges and then secure the velco. I found that it felt more secure if I sort of did it at an angle and felt like the left over material layed flatter that way than if it was straight. It felt comfortable too. The only negative is tht each time you undeo the velcro, it pills the fabric where it was connected so it starts to looked frayed quickly. It didn't seem to affect how well it held though so I didn't deduct a star for this. ... show more

I'm preparing for a surgery to replace my pain pump, which is implanted in my abdomen. I have been through this before (they have to be replaced after so many years when the battery goes dead), so I know what I am looking for when it comes to the abdominal binder I will want to wear. This compression is quite comfortable. I do not think that the velcro is wide enough for adjusting this binder tighter. If you happen to need it a little tighter, part of the end just kind of flops around because there isn't enough velcro width to secure it. Feels clumsy and conspicious, so I'm not particulary impressed by this and will not likely continue to wear it much. ... show more
