I used this on my older UJM bikes and it worked well. When I got a newer one that had TPMS, I found the sensors worked intermittently, so I discontinued using the beads.

So I bought new tires and had them mounted at the motorcycle store. At highway speeds I had a wobble. The store said they couldn’t balance again because I had ridden on them and they sent me to a local shop. The machine was broken at the shop so the mechanic suggested I try balancing beads. I ordered these because of price and quick shipping. Easy DIY and they worked. Half the price of a shop using weights. I am surprised and pleased.

Be warned a lot of balance beads are different sizes in one package. Simply because they don't have quality control and mass produce. Which means that sometimes way more often than others a large balance bead will plug up the hole meaning you have to reset. These however are all the same size and MUCH smoother to work with. Love the kit will buy again.

Bought this for my Vespa when putting on new tires. At only 12", the wheels on a Vespa are more prone to vibration. This solved that problem and I am super happy I went with the internal weights

I'd give it 5 stars for the product being exactly as described, coming as a kit with almost everything you need (minus a valve stem CORE removal tool... they can be bought for only $1 each online, so I really think one of those should have been included. I had to make a special trip to the store to get that because I misplaced mine). The installation instructions were clear. I did not remove the firmly-attached wheel weights glued to my motorcycle's back wheel; I left the wheel in place and I had no room to work, no clearance under the saddlebags. Tapping the valve stem with the hard plastic handle of a screwdriver worked pretty well to keep the beads flowing down into the valve stem. But using a block of scrap wood to firmly rap the steel wheel itself just an inch below the valve stem worked better. DEFINITELY heed the directions about not letting the beads build up into a long logjam in the clear vinyl tube. Keep them flowing or only let them back-up to not more than a half-inch. Then lower the bottle of beads and keep rapping / tapping until they go in. THE END RESULT: Well, on "MY" bike, the balancing beads treatment didn't do much. I think most of my vibration is due to the engine itself. I have a V-twin with both pistons connected to a single pin on the crankshaft. Inherently off-balance. The balance beads did reduce the vibration at my handlebars and therefore my rearview mirrors gave me a better view with less distortion due to vibration-- at least up to 55 MPH. Above that speed, and things seemed somewhat blurry as usual for my bike, before adding those beads. I spent about 20 miles riding at 60-75 MPH the afternoon I installed the beads, but a much longer time on smaller roads with a 45 MPH speed limit. But, for $25 and a little bit of time, I didn't risk much. I don't think the beads will do any harm, and they may have done some good, so it's a net positive experience.

So nice to lose the many weights glued to my rims! I put these on my 2014 R1200GS and they work exactly as described! No vibration or wobble at any speed from 0-100 mph. It's a bit time consuming to get these through the valve stems but worth it!
