Description

This 10 x 20 feet Heavy Duty Carport with Removable Sidewalls with 8 Legs is built to last! This carport kit is built with higher gauge steel than most carports. That means it is heavier and will stand up to the wind and weather elements better than other carports. It also comes with removable sidewalls and rollup doors and has 8 sturdy wide 1.5 inch diameter poles. The heavy-duty bungee cords tightly secure the tarp cover to the frame. Foot pads are installed to the canopy legs for added stability and easy access to secure anchor points. The Abba Patio carport is a best choice for your cars and outdoor equipment as a garage.

  • Extremely pleased
Ordered this based off a review I read. Figured I would write one in the event it may help someone else decided. This canopy is well-made and just what I was looking for, totally covered canopy with high quality and well thought out. I was able to assemble it myself took about 2 hours in total. Could be done in probably 1 - 1 1/2 hours of doing it again. Mistakes I made when assembling, I put the top “roof” canopy on upside down, I highly recommend you attached the base pieces to “C” poles prior to installing to raise the “roof” and make sure you properly line up the top canopy left to right before attaching bungee cords. I am merely using this as a storage area while renovating my house. I will update my review once I experience how it performs in the rain and wind. I did purchase separate hand crank tie down kit as we have had high winds the past few weeks. I highly recommend you purchase heavy duty tie downs. The entire canopy is solid, and sound and can imagine will stand the test of time. Extremely happy with this purchase, fully enclosed to protect whatever you place inside. The only negatives The doors you can not roll up alone, and the side canopy’s do not go nice and tight along the bottom, don’t see this as much of an issue but concerns about exposure to the elements for what I put inside. ... show more

  • Had promise, but it was poorly made.
While it was easy to assemble, mother nature showed she could render it rather useless in a much shorter amount of time. Had one gust of wind that hit 23.4 mph on the weather station, and it did significant damage to the stitched in straps and tie downs. Our truck was in the carport to help hang the back wall. On the one picture, you can see 3 of the 4 walls up. We stopped for a break, and the gust hit. Next photo is of the carport, and us having stabilized and straightened it out, but much damage is evident. 3 of the 4 locations for tie downs on the roof pulled out. If you look at the picture showing several of the straps that hold the walls to the poles, you see not much stitching. The grommets held on good and only saw 1 with damage. Sorry, am not sure how one reviewer said it made it through high winds, unless it was indoors. At the time the gust hit, the carport was being held down with 11 straps, 8 of them attached to 30 inch rebar stakes. The frame twisted enough in the gust that 3 straps came undone. Thankfully the rest held it, and we did not have to go get it. If they wanted to make this better, I would say get rid of the straps held in with stitching and replace them with grommets, that part worked. Tighten up the poles where they fit in the connection pieces to add rigidity. This item showed promise, but failed in the end. Very disappointing, and a waste of time. ... show more

  • Held up even with 50mph wind gusts!
This has surpassed my expectations. The frame and roof canopy took two of us two hours to erect mostly in the dark as I wanted to get it up before the snow came. We live in Northern Michigan and I wasn’t going to spend another year using a tarp to keep the snow of my car. I put the walls up myself in about an hour and drove my car into it. It has help up to over 50 mile an hour wind gusts several times this winter and the snow simply slides off the roof or I use a broom to help it slide. It’s been a Godsend this year and I am thrilled with it. One corner did tear from the Velcro strips after a particularly wild night so I stuck Flex tape along the edge then used tarp clips and bungees to attach it to the pole! Great repair with no further damage to it. I highly recommend this unit. ... show more

  • Not bad, good size
I order this to park a car in and it works well. Pros: *12x20 is a perfect size we can park our 6in lifted Chevy Silverado under it and can open doors *easy to assemble, my husband, I, and the kids 10 & 5) had it together in just about an hour Cons: *Other reviews stated- it moves easy in the wind. We had to use tie down straps with cider blocks at each corner, we had a big wind storm come through and it still moved which brings me to the next con *The material isn’t very tough/strong, it like tarp material and it ripped pretty easy on the cider blocks we had to use to keep it from moving/flying away. Some of the Velcro straps at the ends ripped off from the wind storm (it wasn’t a bad wind storm, maybe 20-25mph for a few min) and we had the ends (doors) unzipped to help too. I put some Gorilla duct tape on the spots that did rip to help keep them from ripping more, so far it seems to be holding. I gave it 4 stars only because the straps ripped off too easy, but I would buy it again if I need a second one. ... show more

  • Great tent but will take flight
This is an extremely sturdy and well made tent. It was perfect for the events I needed it for- spacious, light and held heat on a 45 degree day with the small gas heater. But it will take flight. Mine has flown over 150 feet two separate occasions. The first time it was staked and had the recommended sandbags attached to each pole. It would have flown further but a tombstone and a cedar grove caught it and flipped it over. The second time I tied it down to cement blocks as each pole. It carried two cement blocks with it for about 50 feet until the strings broke. Both time it received minimal damage (small rips were repaired with white duct tape) and the poles are extremely sturdy so they didn't bend. Fortunately no one was injured by these events but the tent broke off two crosses and a solar angel and it knocked the tombstone head off its base and drug it about a foot. The second flight occurred after a party at a farm and it landed roof first on top of my corn patch flattening a large section. SO do not leave this tent up after an event or you may have a UFO siting. ... show more
