MUST BUY! Don’t let the price fool you. This lease is just as good as a $35 Dakine. Very comfortable around the ankle and you can tell it is made from high quality materials. If there was no brand name on this leash, you would think it was a medium/high end leash. I have purchased three so far and will continue to use these as my primary leash for my quiver. I have yet to have one break and it has handled 6-8 foot wipeouts. While it does the job, it is exactly what you should expect at the cheaper price. It tangles a lot and doesn't like to go back straight no matter how many hours you try to fix it. It comes loose at times, which is worrying because I only get smaller waves in where I surf (1-6ft). I imagine it might hold up on bigger, but there are plenty of better more normal options for the leash. ... show more

These leashes have a secure, comfortable ankle strap and a multi-layered velcro/webbing rail saver that will keep the loop on your surfboard from cutting into your board, if installed with the correct loop length. The 7mm is sturdy, and looks like it will hold up to lots of abuse. I had a sizing issue, and the seller was responsive and more than happy to work with me. Highly recommend!! NOTE: apparently it is normal for leashes to stretch somewhat after use, so you may wish to consider the next size down, anticipating this. ... show more

This leash has been used less than 12 times and already is deformed and stretched and tangles while in the water. It is like a old home phone chord with the coil wire that tangles. You get what you pay for. My son was using on a fun board and it tangled so much he had 2 1 feet of slack and was tangled around his leg as waves were crashing. I thought maybe it was him, and tried myself...same thing...This is a defective dangerous product ... show more

You know it thought this would be cheap crap. But it is a s good as any standard store bought leash. It held a 6,10 egg onto my leg though head high close out waves. Not bad and it is still not snapped
