I selected this option after reviewing many different board types, models and manufacturers. As a preface I am not overly agile and weigh 250 lbs. I had horrible thoughts of inflatables being unsturdy and that it would fold flat in my first attempt to use.... but that is far from the truth!!!! This is solid! I am very glad I ended up getting an inflatable instead of a solid board. This comes with what I thought was the best accessory assortment as well. The travel backpack.... is huge.... I do not see myself ever actually using that. The hand pump works well, yes it will take you a long, time to air it up that first time and to get it "full enough". You can Macgyver a way to use an air compressor so long as you keep an eye on the pressure. The chair/backrest is fantastic (remember 250 lbs) I was worried about my weight being held there or that too much pressure would be on those little D rings, but nope, works great, folds flat enough to not be in the way if you change from sitting to standing. I was concerned that I would not be able to sit straddle style as this is a wider board than the one I tried renting, (I am also short, 5 foot 5) but it works fine and I had no issues. ---- Since my first season I have gotten a few additional accessories: A portable electric air compressor, a leash to help tether multiple paddlers together when resting, and a netting pouch for storage. ---- Some things to keep in mind if you are a first time paddler, watch youtube videos on how to smoothly transition from sitting to standing, contact your local sportings goods shop and see if you can RENT one to try before you buy, consider how you will transport this large beast to the body of water, and know that most places require a life jacket (where i live i do not have to have it on me, but i have it with me?). This is a great hobby I have already enjoyed so much! Looking forward to my second season!

I had been wanting to try paddle boarding for awhile but never found the time to rent one. Finally my husband decided to just buy me one, he did a lot of research and came upon this one. I absolutely love it! This board is is wider then most and is very stable, i feel very comfortable on it (I’m not a major water person but this board has changed that for me.) it’s not heavy once inflated and has a handle in the middle to carry. The board also firms up very nicely and isn’t bad to get on in open water. I love that it came with the seat and kayak attachment for the paddle. I haven’t gotten comfortable yet to stand for long periods of time and am not all that coordinated so The kayak features are my favorite part of this board, you sit centered and it glides nicely along the water, we have actually had 2 of us sit comfortably and moves along the water just the same. I’ve used it on lakes and on the lazy river with mini rapids and it handles very well. The main fin is detachable so no worries to break it while transporting. I always pay attention when I come to shore that I don’t drag it on the bottom but they do have replacements on their website. The pump allows for inflation and deflation(which is a plus to get it in the carry bag). The whole bag and equipment can be kind of heavy, but I love having a place for everything to pack up nice and travel with. It has bungee straps to place a few items on the board which has come in handy for my water shoes.

I bought this because I've always wanted a paddle board but I needed something that could fit into my car. I am thrilled with the quality of this paddle board. I've taken it out six or seven times and have experienced no leaks despite bumping a lot of branches. It inflates in anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes with the pump that it comes with. If this is an issue I would recommend you buy a dual action pump, I'm personally content to use a portable air compressor and if I can't find it at the time I just use my hands, the pump works all right if you don't mind going a little slow. The board is very stable and rock hard when inflated to about 9 PSI. I have doubts about the accuracy of the pressure gauge that comes with the pump but it's not an exact science, if you feel the board and it's hard, you're probably fine. This was a great purchase and I would fully recommend this to anyone looking for a beginner paddle board. I haven't stored it over the winter so I can't vouch for it storing well, but I can safely say that with paddle board rentals costing anywhere between 20 and $30, if you take it out five or six times in a season then you've made back your money you would otherwise use renting and I'd say it's still over all the good purchase.

1/1/2023 Update After Several weeks of hearing nothing from Abahub, a rep did reach out to me via Amazon as they must have seen my initial 1-star review here (documented below). After some back-and-forth about the nature of the problem, they agreed to send me a replacement unit and did so promptly. My wife also used that opportunity to ask for a color change, which they also honored. This ended up being a good customer service transaction which has resolved the problem of the slow leak with a replacement of the original item. I have bumped my review up to 4 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought 3 of these in 2022. The functionality of the product is very good. There are a few shortcomings in the design such as the way the fin is attached and the fit and finish, but for the price, they are pretty decent with lots of extras and I would give them 4 stars based on that alone. My problem however is with Abahub's Support team. The only way to contact them is via website and I never received a response or any sort of indication that they received my message. One of our three SUPs has a slow leak around where the valve sits. I've switched out valves but it didnt help There's clearly a defect in the material. As this is still under warranty, I was hoping for a replacement, but my inquiry appears to have fallen into a black hole. For that reason alone, I can not recommend Abahub products. What good is a warranty if they wont even honor it? It's really too bad.
